A huge portion of that is stock you may never earn. I fell for that once at a startup never again.$363K US. Holy shyt. I really should have moved to the US.

Still doing great, and my contract got extended.I been doing contract work since 2022 and it's been great in this job market.
Pay attention that dude is saying software engineering as a career is not dead, but enhanced.
Sure a company can have 1 person taking on the tasks of 10 other people by using A.I.
However, what if another company had 100 people like that doing the same?
The latter company will seriously outclass the former company.
Yup. shyt I’m about to be an EE soon and this shyt made learning the material for the degree really easy. It's funny because Jensen just took a giant shyt on all of the people who kept talking about AI "Replacing" talent.
I loved that part of the presentation.
He basically had to let people know that, no, it's not "replacing" the talent but it WILL allow
them to work more efficiently.
Exactly and lately, I've been making similar moves, I'm applying for my masters in EE in the fall and I'm finishing up a DS Degree right now.Yup. shyt I’m about to be an EE soon and this shyt made learning the material for the degree really easy.
Now I see some apps out there like Flux that have been doing a great job building circuits and they keep getting better and better, basically multiplying any one person’s efficiency.
Now if you’re a company, do you want to hire 1 person working at x10 efficiency or 100 people working at x10 efficiency? Even a trickier question when a rival company hires 200 people working at x10 efficiency compared to the former’s 100 hires. That company isn’t falling behind x2, but x200.
Like if people don’t think those NVIDIA Engineers aren’t using A.I themselves, they’re highly naive.
