It's just that he's not good enough to rebuild your entire offense around him. He doesn't command that privileged. Denver only did it out of necessity and second they saw a way to get rid of him they took it.
No team is going to reconstruct how they run everything to accommodation him...on the off chance that he might be able to sustain the success he had in Denver. Which is a shaky proposition at best when you actually sit down and look at the run they had last year.
Dude needs to learn how to throw the football so he can utilize his other abilities within something close to a standard NFL offense, instead of expecting a team to install the Tebow offense for him.
Actually I think this is a big part of why he doesn't play. The style and way he plays may give you short term gains, but it's not sustainable over a long period of time. Many would say what Tebow did last year was lightning in a bottle. How does that sustain itself over a long period of time without a discernible QB skill? It doesn't. Tebow's like a shytty player that kills shyt in his walk year. You don't wanna commit because if you commit, you'll immediately have buyer's remorse since what he can't do can't last.
If Tim Tebow had come in and won games, everyone would have gotten attached. At least in Denver they had Peyton Manning to soften the blow. Even the Knicks had a player that when he was here could produce in Felton (NY example). The Jets would be trapped with Tebow and the expectations for what Tebow could bring would be unrealistic. That's why Rex never wants to even try him out there, even now.
Now this is where plenty will disagree. Do I think he's better than Mark? Yes, because for what Tebow can't do, he also doesn't commit the ungodly amount of mistakes Fez commits. He hasn't shown he can consistently avoid the same mistakes whereas Tebow isn't good enough to attempt those mistakes.
Tebow > Sanchez
No one should be shocked about this.
So why trade for him? You knew it'd be a media circus from day one but then you don't want to deal with the media circus of him starting and actually WINNING games this season? You don't want to win?
Hey Timmy, pick up your phone.....the CFL is calling.
based on the fact that at the very least Tebow can run.BAsed on....feelings?
Tebow beat one team over .500 as a starter, and he receives so much acclaim.
based on the fact that at the very least Tebow can run.
Sanchez can't pass OR run. He can't keep his composure under pressure, runs into his own teammates and fumbles, AND has actually regressed as time gone on. For all the shyt people give Tebow, I truly feel that Sanchez is worse because he has shown nothing positive on the Jets. With Tebow at the very least I can confidently say that he wont bytch up at the end like Fez has done during his time here.
This was a missed opportunity for Rex to keep his job. If he started Tebow early on it would have helped the defense because at least SOMETHING would have been consistent offensively in the running game and helping the defense catch their breath. The Jets would have won the last game with Tebow instead of Sanchez playing.
I am not sure about your whole angle in defending Sanchez. You claim both are garbage, yet Tebow at least has a proven track record with the run. The fukk does Sanchez have a solid track record for? That inevitable fukkup at the end of games with an INT or fumble?![]()

Only problem with the run is that....the teams they faced this season defenses were WAAAAY better than the D that Tebow faced last season with the Broncos.
