No man. Tebow would have beaten the 49ers, Patriots, Texans and Seahawks.

Him beating one team over .500 resume means more than bum ass Mark Sanchez doing that alone in the playoffs.

It's just dumb on their part man. The Tebow myth is build on so much spin its ridiculous.

Sanchez ain't shyt....Tebow is even shyttier.

Don't even get too worked up over this bruh

I root for the Gators and would love to see him succeed in the league but let's just call it what it is, he's not starting material. If it's not a slant or a 9 route, he's not completing ANY other pass. We've seen it.

Not only that, he has POOR pocket awareness on passing plays from under center and the shotgun. He's attempted around 352 career passes and has been sacked almost 40 times and has 14 career fumbles. How many times last season did we see him spin in a COMPLETE circle when being pressured in the pocket?

What makes you think I want him to fail?

And yes....that pirouette INTO a pass rush is one of the funniest things in football. :russ:
I know EXACTLY what you're talking about.

But these Tebow riders are type funny. At the end of the day, his NFL resume is built on

1. defeating below .500 teams success

2. defenses holding teams to 20 points or less

3. and media spin....

and its THAT formula that puts him over Mark bum ass Sanchez who has an actual better resume. :krs:

INCREDIBLE!!!

Still like my chances with Tebow over Sanchez. He shouldn't have been protected like the team has been protecting him all year. Sanchez has done nothing to deserve that kind of treatment. Better resume than Tebow? I would hope so with 4 years of nfl experience compared to 1

It doesn't matter at this point anyway. I hope both those bums the best in their careers outside of New York. I am interested in seeing what happens with Tebow.

You like your chances based on chance....not actual play.

No one seems to truly want to properly gauge Tebow's "success" and tie it to context.

It's retarded.

Better for certain games, yes. But enough to make a difference? No.

Like someone else said, Tebow does not beat the 49ers, the Seahawks, or the Pats. He'd have a puncher's chance at the Texans b/c their run D is a bit suspect... but other than that, Tebow maybe wins ONE more game and that's the Titans. He's not beating the Steelers in Pittsburgh.

To be honest, he should have went in during the Cardinals game... but they see McElroy as their future and I don't see a problem with that. I mean... Foles is playing because we all know Edwards will not make a difference either way.

Nobody knows what would have happened in those games. Maybe the change in the jets game plan is enough to throw the defense off for a win. :yeshrug:

BAsed on....feelings?

Tebow beat one team over .500 as a starter, and he receives so much acclaim.

That was last year with a different team. Cant' really compare that to now.

I'm not saying Tebow is the answer but if he's your 2nd string guy (which I'm assuming he was since he was brought in to be that) and your starter is playing TERRIBLE. You put him in there. Worst case scenario is that you still lose and you get the media off your back about playing him.

i dont get it man.....

the fact that Macelroy (sp?) is starting instead of Tebow has to say something in itself lol

Ima Gator fan too... and really, he is the same player from his freshman yr as a Gator, i dont know if he will improve.......

like dude said earlier, if it isnt a streak, or slant... you can add drags in there, he can throw the hell out of a 5yrd drag route lol.....

Tebow might as well get started on becoming the next megapreacher or something. :yeshrug:

Blame woody....and screw this last year stuff. This Jets team is worse.

Tebow is horrible. His former teammates said it. His current ones do.
Let's stop the madness.

:heh: The CFL is even more of a passing league than the NFL. Don't be ridiculous.

My Pops Forever RIP
So why trade for him? You knew it'd be a media circus from day one but then you don't want to deal with the media circus of him starting and actually WINNING games this season? You don't want to win?

It was a stupid move and it was done to sell seats and eat off Linsanity a bit by having that only with Tebow. This was a Woody /Tannenbaum creation. Rex signed on thinking "well he can't be that bad" until he saw him in practice.
