No one is scared of him succeeding. That's ridiculous.

It's just that he's not good enough to rebuild your entire offense around him. He doesn't command that privileged. Denver only did it out of necessity and second they saw a way to get rid of him they took it.

No team is going to reconstruct how they run everything to accommodation him...on the off chance that he might be able to sustain the success he had in Denver. Which is a shaky proposition at best when you actually sit down and look at the run they had last year.

Dude needs to learn how to throw the football so he can utilize his other abilities within something close to a standard NFL offense, instead of expecting a team to install the Tebow offense for him.

Actually I think this is a big part of why he doesn't play. The style and way he plays may give you short term gains, but it's not sustainable over a long period of time. Many would say what Tebow did last year was lightning in a bottle. How does that sustain itself over a long period of time without a discernible QB skill? It doesn't. Tebow's like a shytty player that kills shyt in his walk year. You don't wanna commit because if you commit, you'll immediately have buyer's remorse since what he can't do can't last.

If Tim Tebow had come in and won games, everyone would have gotten attached. At least in Denver they had Peyton Manning to soften the blow. Even the Knicks had a player that when he was here could produce in Felton (NY example). The Jets would be trapped with Tebow and the expectations for what Tebow could bring would be unrealistic. That's why Rex never wants to even try him out there, even now.

Now this is where plenty will disagree. Do I think he's better than Mark? Yes, because for what Tebow can't do, he also doesn't commit the ungodly amount of mistakes Fez commits. He hasn't shown he can consistently avoid the same mistakes whereas Tebow isn't good enough to attempt those mistakes.

Well TBF, Tebow was "solid" his rookie year the last 3 games when the Broncos did run a traditional pass offense. He wasn't a great by any means, but he showed some things to build off of.

As of now, he's NOT starter material. He needs to be on the bench behind a QB who he can learn from. The problem is the media and fan base, not Tebow himself. The outsiders make it impossible for him to sit on the bench in peace. Even when Peyton struggled early this season, folks where starting the "they should of kept Tebow" talk.

Another problem is that if they try to do a run oriented offense featuring Tebow, you're going to have to overhaul the personel and then you HAVE to have back up QB's who have the same skill set as him too.

This is coming from somebody who wants him to succeed but it is what it is

So why trade for him? You knew it'd be a media circus from day one but then you don't want to deal with the media circus of him starting and actually WINNING games this season? You don't want to win?

Ask our dumb ass owner.

He thought Tebow would lead to more PSL's being sold, but little does he know that New Yorkers don't care for campy Middle America storylines.

He undersold our intelligence as fans.

BAsed on....feelings?

Tebow beat one team over .500 as a starter, and he receives so much acclaim.
based on the fact that at the very least Tebow can run.

Sanchez can't pass OR run. He can't keep his composure under pressure, runs into his own teammates and fumbles, AND has actually regressed as time gone on. For all the shyt people give Tebow, I truly feel that Sanchez is worse because he has shown nothing positive on the Jets. With Tebow at the very least I can confidently say that he wont bytch up at the end like Fez has done during his time here.

This was a missed opportunity for Rex to keep his job. If he started Tebow early on it would have helped the defense because at least SOMETHING would have been consistent offensively in the running game and helping the defense catch their breath. The Jets would have won the last game with Tebow instead of Sanchez playing.

I am not sure about your whole angle in defending Sanchez. You claim both are garbage, yet Tebow at least has a proven track record with the run. The fukk does Sanchez have a solid track record for? That inevitable fukkup at the end of games with an INT or fumble? :childplease:

Tebow had a higher QB Rating last year than Sanchez did this year.

Who is defending poor play of Sanchez? It's funny how you can't base it on anything substantive other than Tebow being a better runner.

Tebow beat one team over .500 in his entire career, and we're making a case of saying shyt is better than piss.

:heh:

And this is an ARGUMENT WE'RE HAVING!!!

It's pure crap. Sanchez sucks...yet has a better track record than Tebow who will likely be on his third team in four years. And that's who you're riding for.

Congratulations.

He could run. He won't bytch up. But he'll lead the NFL in three and outs, beat one team over 500, pray that his teams keep another team's offense at bay for less than 17 points in the hopes that Tebow can remain an effective quality NFL qb each and every game.

So much to ride for in Tim Tebow. I guess that means I'm saying "Sanchez is a good qb." That's always the bum ass knee jerk response

:heh:

That is who you're riding for.

Only problem with the run is that....the teams they faced this season defenses were WAAAAY better than the D that Tebow faced last season with the Broncos.

No man. Tebow would have beaten the 49ers, Patriots, Texans and Seahawks. :heh:

Him beating one team over .500 resume means more than bum ass Mark Sanchez doing that four times over alone in the playoffs.

It's just dumb on their part man. The Tebow myth is build on so much spin its ridiculous.

Sanchez ain't shyt....Tebow is even shyttier.
