Their best chance of winning was with Mark Sanchez, he is their best quarterback. Starting Tebow now would just be feeding the trolls.

Exactly. What other backup QB got more playing time this year other than Skelton/Lindley and Smith/Kaep? And Kaep actually did enough to KEEP his starting role. Lindley is the most viable of the worst in a bad situation given that he's a rookie. Campbell didn't earn his spot away from Cutler. Flynn couldn't snatch his initial spot back from Wilson.

Yet somehow... someway... Tebow is not only BETTER than Sanchez... but should START b/c he can "be better" than Sanchez... when he is not and should not be the future... that's why McElroy is there.

Who criticized these two? I don't think you can compare MJD or Percy to Chad or TO.

I think some of you are underestimating the importance of playing the game within the game when it comes to this.
It's just like your job, you gotta play politics or you lose out. Thankfully the NFL is closer to a meritocracy than most other situations, but this element still exists.
