:rudy: Why? I personally don't think Tebow is starting material, but the man proved last year that he atleast deserves an opportunity. His fans are about as credible as those Lin-Sanity idiots, but don't let how annoying they are detract from how dedicated this guy is. The amount of disrespect shown to him by the Jets has been disgusting. Even as someone who thinks Mark Sanchez is a better passer, the least the Jets could've done was give the kid a chance :manny:

There are plenty of guys out there that try hard and don't get a chance. Mark Sanchez is a much better quarterback than Tebow and so is Greg McElroy. It makes perfect sense that they would both play ahead of Tebow.

With how much criticism the Jets are already receiving, why would it make any sense to feed into the bullshyt and throw Tebow out there against a shytty Chargers team in a game that means nothing to either team? If the Jets win or even come close to winning, all of these dishonest motherfukkers are going to come out and say Tebow should have been the starter all along even if he goes 0-15 with 4 INTs and has nothing to do with the victory. There is absolutely nothing to gain from feeding those fukkers.

Keep tellin y'all this ADHD having muthafukka is going to end up being the republican nominee for Prez one day....it's inevitable....with that said, I hope he fails at everything football related

:beli:Why?

It's people like Skip Bayless and the media who make him a talking point 300+ days of out the year that's the problem.

When's the last time you saw him on TV giving an interview or anything?

IMO, Tebow handled his situation way better than Lin handled "Linsanity"

Well Tebow should be telling these dudes to get off his dikk and he should use those exact words. Otherwise I don't see how any team is ever going to want to deal with him again. He's simply not good enough to cancel out all of the baggage that comes along with him.

Because you really didn't hear about Tebow's talents and how he felt he used his skills to win the game. It was "I worked hard, trusted my teammates, and prayed a lot."

I'm sorry... that's not gonna let you beat the Pats, Broncos, and Packers of the world. At some point, you have to talk about what he does as a player... Rodgers' strengths about his elusiveness and quick release. Manning is his accuracy and decision making. Hell, even Jay Cutler can rely on strength. What was one thing that the media or Tebow spoke about SKILL wise that could lead him to being a winning QB going forward?

The media didn't help matters, but no one wants to hear that simple-minded BS. There's a reason Luck is put on a pedestal and not too many folks are mad yet the same can't be said for Tebow.

This would all be true, IF the majority of the games Tebow played in were losses.

The irony is, people(teams) are scared of him succeeding.

No one is scared of him succeeding. That's ridiculous.

It's just that he's not good enough to rebuild your entire offense around him. He doesn't command that privileged. Denver only did it out of necessity and second they saw a way to get rid of him they took it.

No team is going to reconstruct how they run everything to accommodation him...on the off chance that he might be able to sustain the success he had in Denver. Which is a shaky proposition at best when you actually sit down and look at the run they had last year.

Dude needs to learn how to throw the football so he can utilize his other abilities within something close to a standard NFL offense, instead of expecting a team to install the Tebow offense for him.

Umm, those reasons you listed are EXACTLY why they are afraid of him succeeding. Him winning games means you have to build ur team around what he's best at.

Tebow would be a non-issue if he was a proven loser. :manny:

You're right, the second they saw a way to get a legit top 5 qb in NFL history they got rid of Tebow. There are about 25 other qbs in the league who would have been dropped as well if Peyton showed interest in that team.

Its funny how so few of you can find a reason for Sanchez starting over Tebow so you immediately try to talk about the Broncos situation, thinking we gonna just let you slide with that.

Even so, how often do you see a team throw away a young QB after a playoff win?

And we're talking about a Peyton Manning that was coming off 4 neck surgeries.

Think about that, the risk of taking on a 36 year old QB who hadn't played in a year and may not ever get back to where he was...was better than keeping a 25 year old who just went 7-4 and won a playoff game.

Plus Elway and co. were never down for the Tebow shyt.

So NFL teams are afraid of putting in a proven winner cause they'd have to structure their offense around him?

And Tebow is a non-issue, he's a 3rd string QB on one of the worst offenses in the league.

Top 5 QB in the history of the NFL warrants taking a chance.

You acting like the Broncos were the only team willing to get rid of their playoff game winning qb. They weren't!

The other was Alex Smith (mediocre at best) who just got benched for Kaepernick.

Jesus Christ you're going to have to make me defend Tebow....

where was that SAME defense when Orton was starting? dude is overrated but deserves some credit. Like someone mentioned earlier, his lack of turnovers is reason enough to be an upgrade. Jets have an above average defense even with injuries. how yall think yall won games so far with Sanchez??

Niners lost to the Rams. they can be beat
Texans bruh? nikkas been gettin worked by wack teams the past few weeks. 37 points to the Jags??? :dead:
Pats are fair game because of their horrible defense.
Dolphin?!!? nikka dolphins can be beat by ANYBODY. that's real talk. they're not some juggernaut.
etc. etc.

my point still stands, anybody can beat anybody in the NFL. that's why they play the games. all this hypothetical shyt doesn't matter. Tebow didn't get a shot.

u can't intercept a pass that's uncatchable.
