I think they should get an equal percentage of the pie that men do.

So say men's soccer generates 300 mil from just supply and demand and the men get 15% of that money. The women should get 15% of whatever funds are generated from the demand of the sport.


Had this argument with a girl 2 days ago. Was trying to say women bball players should get equal pay as NBA players since they are doing the same thing. I was thinking about this why.do people.watch sports.
For entertainment right.
Womens tennis oftentimes gets higher ratings and i think women's soccer's is a huge draw.

At the end of the day, you get what you can command. That's why I can't hate on cats that get, imo, overpaid. Get that money. The USNWT is clearly superior to its Mens counterpart. But the Women's World Cup as a whole pales to the Men's World Cup in popularity, views, and money accrued. The women deserve more but the economics of it might not match up. It's on them to demand more or hold out until they can get it
