From a genetic point of view, the average Black American has DNA from a couple of dozen West and Central African ethnic groups, Western European ethnic groups (particularly English and Welsh) and some Native American ethnic groups.

No African ethnic group has that genetic makeup.

Because natural migration existed as well as slavery and colonolisation.
