he made a lot of good points, I'm see this movie tonight

but the promo for the movie seem kind of weak

and also the critics destroyed this movie before the release so that probably detoured people from seeing it so they can raise some eyebrows

my main problem with some of things he said and black people who think like this is, your admitting that your too weak to overcome obstacles in society.

All the things he said are true, but they are not unbreakable, we are not bounded by this.

hollywood has a huge problem with black male/female relationships

well i do kinda of agree with your viewpoint..i still think using after earth as an example is probably the dumbest thing ever..that movie was fukking horrible..the reason it failed was because it got trashed by critics..promo was horrendous and lets not forget people found out M N sham was involved and he was black listed pretty much for destroying one of hte most beloved cartoon franchies in recent memory..and you need to also understand that movies wether have black or white protaganist flop..that's just what happens..and damn never heard of the great debaters ..i guess marketing and promo fukked up on that one..def gonna watch that now..
