Lol didn't Trump meet with Ice cube and promise that platinum plan for black people or whatever the fukk it was called. How did that turn out?
Trump got exposed heavily on that with ONLY one small page that was supposed to address Cube's concerns and yet TLR still pretends that Cube didn't get played like a PS5 by Trump with the Platinum Plan BS. :lolbron:

Overall, regardless of how you feel about Democrats, I don't know what the GOP even has to offer Black people that would even be better.

Republican states like Alabama, Louisiana, and Mississippi have done a WORSE job at resolving Black poverty, miseducation, gun violence, health problems, and illiteracy than most Blue States. New York, Maryland, and California have much stronger Black middle class communities than them. It's not even close. Queens has had Black people having a higher median household income than White people since the 90's. Name me ONE Red State where that's happened.

Even Atlanta, Charlotte, and Houston which do have Black middle classes are basically the Blue oasis of their states. All 3 are basically the most liberal cities in the whole South but I'm supposed to give the GOP credit for the rising Black middle class there? Nah.

Trickle down economics, banned abortions, banned Black history in schools, reduced tangibles, reduced government aid, militarized police, loose gun laws, limited public transit, mass incarceration, softened stances on White supremacist groups/activity, etc. doesn't seem any more alluring that what we have now.

Could there be better Democrats to represent? Absolutely. I would've taken Bernie, Warren, Williamson(pro reparations candidate), etc. over Biden any day of the week but I still would rather deal with Biden than whatever the GOP is proposing. Even Trump's immigration crackdown wasn't any stronger than Obama's. People just fell for the lie that Trump was so anti-amnesty and pro-American worker even though the record doesn't even show him to be all that hardlined in that field.

Seriously, though, I genuinely don't see what the GOP has to offer to us that's actually viable. COVID f*cked up the job market and inflation more than Biden ever did and, if you think Trump's going to snap his finger like Thanos and bring us back to pre-COVID times, then you might as well believe in the Tooth Fairy and Santa Claus......

What Black Americans have been doing collectively the last 60 years.when it comes to voting, is not working. Dems see us as they’ll loyal pet dogs. And every voting season we loyally bring them their whites supremacist newspapers and slippers, friend. :francis:
What you're saying is hyperbolic and it ignores the fact that Black people in Blue States are generally better off than those in Red States due to Democrat policies still being better than GOP policies in spite of both having their flaws.

But you still ignored by question. Should Black people as a whole just give up voting and let Non-Blacks determine the political fate of this country? It's a simple yes or no question.

As president we watched him negotiate with with every caucus/group. Everyone from dreamers to North Korea got something from Trump. Every demographic ate off the Trump White House, except who?

The congressional black caucus refused to meet with Trump. While EVERYONE was buying houses, the average breh was being priced out and not able to take advantage of the low interest rates.

Yes let’s not listen to someone who may become president. When you don’t listen, you get economic zones that fill your neighborhood up with dollar tree/ dollar general/ storage facilities and Ross.
This right the fukk here. We were better off under Trump financially. As soon as Biden got in office you felt the difference in your pockets.

Like I said, there's no proof that the GOP or Trump will even be any more beneficial to us than Biden.

Even if you think Biden is terrible or useless, is there any reason to believe that Trump will do ANYTHING better than him if he gets relected?

If Biden and Trump are equally terrible, I'd still rather have Biden due to him being able to slow down the GOP's radical fascist agenda and the GOP being too overpowered in the White House while we still get time to vet for a better candidate for the 2028 election.

If you think Trump has the ability to just reverse COVID's everlasting impact on the economy, inflation, and the country as a whole, then you might as well believe that Santa is coming to town this summer.

One of the biggest GOP lies is that the inflation and economic crisis we have right now is strictly a result of Biden or the Democrats. It's one of the greatest lies ever told that's spread like the pandemic all over the Internet and Right Wing media.

Also, Trump simply hasn't proven to be all that hardlined on immigration as he was made out to be. He still didn't outshine the "Deporter In Chief"(Obama) in that department.

Trump is a master salesman and thespian. He's charismatic like a megachurch pastor and he can lie to your face and have you believe it. But the reality is that Trump's "good economy" during his term was already trending towards the end of Obama's last years when he was steadily getting us out of the Great Recession that started under Bush's watch.

With Trump re-elected in 2024, we're still going to have much of the same issues with inflation, mass shootings, unstable economy, and illegal immigration but with the added bonus of emboldened White supremacist groups, less tangibles, militarized police, looser gun laws, stronger opposition against things perceived as "woke" or pro-Black, more voter suppression, less civil rights, etc.

But hey....if Tariq or someone else wants to "give Trump a chance" anyway, then be my guest.

Astoundingly Yes. Hold your votes as a collective until a party brings something tangible and stop blindly voting for what we feel as a collective is the “lesser evil” friend.
