The Dreamers didn't get shyt from Trump. Trump tried to end DACA. The CBC refused to meet with him in the first year of his Presidency due to Trump not listening to what they were telling him and the actions his administration was taking that was deemed harmful to black people.
Yet, the CBC played a big role in the passage of the Criminal Justice Reform First Step Act one year later. A law that later Trump said he wish he never signed because it went against his tough on crime stance, went against his super pro-police stance, and he was pissed at Jared Kushner, his step son for convincing him to do it because he would get votes from felons.
"When the looting starts, the shooting starts", and Trump sicking law enforcement on Lafayette Square protestors against police brutality to clear out the park in order for him to walk through like a dictator and pose with a bible he never read in front of a church tells me that him and his people really going to negotiate.
