I might be the only person in here who actually doesn't like the art shift at all :manny: everything else looks great though and Tales has been on a damned good run these past few years
Only thing that looks different to me is the art direction/fidelity.

and I think it just looks like a major step up from berseria that was really a ps3 game

i think each of the characters is overdesigned and just too stark of a departure from their typical aesthetic but tales has more than earned a title to do something different :manny:

they outlasted a lot of the other RPG series that they had to compete with too. they earned a loyalty purchase from me :manny:

I expect great things from this since Berseria was among the better Tales games made to me. The series got stale under Baba.
Really ?
I had a great time with Vespiria, Xillia, Xillia 2,Zestiria & Graces.
I really digged all the games that came out during the ps360 era and last gen.

Me too.. ive only played Symphonia, Vesperia and Beseria. I didnt like the combat system in Beseria. It was too complicated for me.
TO get the hang of berseria, I'd say start with Xillia.
That's when they did a major change to combat that shifted away from the Symphonia/Vesperia style of play.
It introduces everything slowly and explains the new systems, so that when you finall get to Berseria (the 4th game or so in the new style)
the combat isn't as crazy a change as it is going straight from Vesperia to Beseria.

:ohhh:

In your opinion, which system was better? I could combo in Sym & Vesperisa for days. In Beseria it felt like I was just mashing buttons. I was actually losing too many fights so I quit playing.
