People are really crying about the skits being 3D models instead of anime pictures now.



why even continue to do them like this. I understand using them back when the graphics were low res polygons but if they are just gonna do close ups of the faces anyway why not just use real time camera shots like a normal game. It’s more Immersive that way anyway.gotta let some traditions go when the technology makes it obsolete

They going more that manga panel look with the cutouts....it's an updated version yo keep the ufotable animation cost down

I hope NamcoBandai do this how they've done the more recent Tales games in that you can upgrade you characters right away with DLC. I don't have time nor the patience to grind anymore so I loved buying all those upgrades and bull dozing the game for the most part :mjlol:

And Abyss and Xillia were my shyt. Xillia is one of the few RPGs I 100% completed.

naw, not just the dips. but the sound being mixed weird (which could entirely be on youtube) and the fact the tracking is noticeably bad even without a UI to make it obvious. notice the movement too? its doing that thing where the game isn't sure what space a character is actually occupying. animations look off from combat even to the faces as well

its hard to tell with marketing because you never know what build they're pulling from but :patrice: arise hasn't seemed right to me since the initial trailer

maybe im trippin tho :manny:

looks like the typical jank of a game scaling up considerably from the last iteration. same shyt with Disgaea

Yeah the sound definitely sounded off. I think it's just the editing though.
