Final Fantasy is about going on a journey and exploration

Remake suffers from everything people complained about Final Fantasy XIII

Final Fantasy XV was a return to form for the series, you could ride chocobos like every other tradional final fantasy, you can fly over the world map in a ship like every other tradional final fantasy, even though they added it later, you can ride a boat and explore the sea like every other traditional final fantasy

you can't do any of these in the remake, the hub system is straight out of the ps2 era, I mean even Yakuza games have a better world design

There's no field map where you can fight enemies, etc, the game was a disappointment, it were suppose to able to explore midgar, you can't

the story was a mess, it's not a remake of the original game like it was advertised, etc

Ahh...I forgot that only you have access to the real FF fans. Oh blessed be, what or where would we be without your solely exclusive, precious access to all these alleged real FF fans.

The only complaint I have heard about the Remake is the Whispers (legit gripe won't argue against it they are silly as fukk), other than that I haven't met anyone in real life who hates the Remake.

Right. The Remake isn't without any criticism, both valid and invalid, but so did the original. I've never heard of anyone remotely interested in the type of game hating the game tho.

There is item cool down thats what the ATB is, it's a cool down system

they have the same bar in tales game for items it's just not a called ATB, these are just gimmick names to make it seem like it something do it

and tales always had that because it game from JRPGS, so the item ATB was to mimick the turn system, and tales is also semi turn base, you have to know when it's your tune to do a combo, and when your'e suppose to dodge and in other games block, which is your waiting turn

they just implement ten times better than how it is in the remake, which is an updated system of the Crisis core system which just isn't that great

That is an action game, not a turn based game. 7R is turn based off character usage. If you don't use a character they won't build ATB and will eventually stand there and block until you switch to them. You cannot play with just one character and be effective for too long in 7R unless you playing on easy mode and are already OP as fukking hell.

You have to build up ATB, that isn't a cooldown system. A cooldown system is literally just that, a timer until you can do a certain action again, which 7R does not have
If you have built up the ATB you can spam items, back to back to back. Unless I'm missing something there is no way possible to do that in a Tales game. Two COMPLETELY different battle systems bruh.

I took friday off and played most of the weekend Still went out saturday and hit the gym. I also wfh so I can finish games fast.


Almost at the end here I imagine. This is easily the best tales game, its no contest really.

So far I do agree. This game does have it's flaws but compared to the other Tales games I have played, yes this is definitely a step up, SO FAR. Still need to finish it before I give it final cosign.

I’m guessing I’m headed into the games last act. Seems to be about a 45-50 hour game with moderate side quest.

At this point it’s not my favorite Tales game but I also don’t dislike it either. I’m not as crazy about it as the reviewers were.

I like Berseria Graces, Abyss, and Vesperia all better. This is way better than stuff like the Xillias though. My feelings on it are more in line with Zestiria than anything. Didn’t think that one was bad but I wasn’t crazy about it either.

Maybe the final story beats impress me.

This is definitely better than Zestiria.

But then again Zestiria is probably my least favorites Tales game (of the ones I've played). Gameplay-wise it was cool but I didn't care for the story/characters in that at all, especially the main.

This game tones down the anime. I mean it's still an anime inspired game but it pulls back hard on that front. I think Berseria has this beat on characters and story by far.

It really does look like they accomplished what they set out to do when they pulled back on the anime like nature of the series. Seems like the combination of that and the amount of polish they gave the game are reaching a wider audience than the other games.

Still the concept of playing as a bunch of bad people who weren't really out to save the world in Berseria is more interesting to me than this game that's mostly about racism. Also what they did with Velvet and how they mentally assaulted her and broke her down was more interesting than what's happened here.

You talking about somebody that beat Persona 5 in a day under 2 weeks. That's how I am. If it's an anticipated series I normally play and I like the game well enough I'll marathon it if not I'll probably not even finish it. A few examples of DNF are Kingdom Hearts 3 and Final Fantasy VII Remake. I've still yet to complete either. Plan to but it'll be a while.
