Yeah, my job is super chill actually, even more with me getting promoted to management side (even more chill in some regards due to such). But when it gets busy, it's even busier now for me. I played quite a grip while I could today tho, side from dealing with the kids.

And it'd be one thing if they were just young kids, but one's only 1 years old. So my play time is constantly interrupted.:sadbron:

Finally fought the 2nd lord that everyones complaining about.....yikes

Edit: Guess I'm going to temporarily lower the difficulty to fight this guy.

One thing this game really nails is that at the end of it all the characters feel like they've really grown. Shionne by far the most, Rinwell as well. Alphen kinda settles into who he is by the middle of the game. Dohalim gets some growth mostly toward the last part. To a lesser extent but still noticeable Law and Kisara. Everyone gets an arc or some type of events to address their character.

Got right before the 2nd lord but been playing Deathloop since last night. :snoop:

Game doesn"t have as many of the problems the older Tales games had, such as one mandatory annoying cutesy character, and immature dialogue, but the combat system is already getting old to me. Might switch to Auto mode for the random encounters.

Gonna take a break for a bit, the berserk mode Dohalim is kicking my ass on moderate, gonna take a break and try again later...and if it don't work I'm going back to medium. It sucks you can't fast travel nowhere so I can't even go buy supplies or rest
the bosses are strangely the worst thing about my experience so far. outside of the first boss, i've just been put off by how they decide to stack the deck and heavily weigh shyt against you towards the end of the fight

its old tales bullshyt combined with extra nonsense. if i can't damage a boss, then give the player more of a tell then 0 damage popping up. if the boss is gonna loop his ultimate attack when he's critical, then why throw their damage resistance and penetration through roof on top of everything else? some events in boss fights don't even give you the indicator if the boss is outside of you field of view as well

its weird because i like the combat a lot but every time a boss fight comes around i'm just expecting bullshyt
