I aint talking about the combat bro. How they actually made this game and the direction they went in. This feels like I'm playing a more anime version of what FF7R was trying to convey, whereas FF7R feels like closer to a live action TV show.

FF7R is still a turn based game whether people understand that or not, it isn't that far of a departure as it's basically FF12's system just you have to hit the basic attack button not set it to a gambit and let it do it for you.

Tales games have been playable anime TV shows since Symphonia on gamecube, that's the whole idea beyond the series, Final Fantasy 7 Remake copies the tales series it's nothing like a final fantasy that's why final fantasy VII fans hate the game

I didn't say people didn't like the game, I said the Final Fantasy series fans didn't like it, which is a fact, it was a disappointment to you

the game ain't that good, you don't have to be a weirdo to not like this game, and that wasn't the point of the base, The remake copied The Tales formula not the other way around

I have played every Final Fantasy game and LOVE the remake. Only FF I truly dislike is 15, that game is NOTHING like a FF game.

Bro what did the Remake copy from this, can't wait to hear your goofy take on this considering there are already a few examples of what the Remake did that no other Tales game did, come on goofy let me hear it, I got about 1 hour to kill.:mjlol:

There's nothing original about the remake, Tales invented this type of combat for jrpg, AC system is the same as buffering system as the ATB

waiting cool down for items has also been every tales game what are you talking about, action rpg jrpg where you can control the whole party started is from tales its a staple of the series even before it was 3D, the entire action jrpg genre is based on the tales series it was the first to do this style

Final Fantasy XV is an open world action jrpg it's the only game of it's kind that exists at least it was originally, you can create your own combos like Devil May Cry, you can't do that in this game, Remake combat is an updated version of Crisis Core game that was on hand helds, it's not great by any means certainly not comparable to tales series

The series had bad textures, nonsensical story, and basic simplified combat, all the combos are flow and they aren't varied, it's not a real action combat system

You know damn well fans of traditional final fantasy did not like that game, I'm not saying the game wasn't well received just stating facts

I've heard a few whine about not having a normal mode classic battle system in its first iteration, which is a stark difference from not liking the game as a whole.

Remake combat is still turn based bro, it isn't supposed to be like a Tales game. The only thing you have a point about is item cooldown... wait a second there is no item cooldown in 7R, did you even play the game? :patrice:

because you not listen to the real final fantasy fans

it's about the combat

Final Fantasy XV was a real time action game, but it was still a Final Fantasy game

Final Fantasy is about going on a journey and exploration

Remake suffers from everything people complained about Final Fantasy XIII

Final Fantasy XV was a return to form for the series, you could ride chocobos like every other tradional final fantasy, you can fly over the world map in a ship like every other tradional final fantasy, even though they added it later, you can ride a boat and explore the sea like every other traditional final fantasy

you can't do any of these in the remake, the hub system is straight out of the ps2 era, I mean even Yakuza games have a better world design

There's no field map where you can fight enemies, etc, the game was a disappointment, it were suppose to able to explore midgar, you can't

the story was a mess, it's not a remake of the original game like it was advertised, etc

The only complaint I have heard about the Remake is the Whispers (legit gripe won't argue against it they are silly as fukk), other than that I haven't met anyone in real life who hates the Remake.

There is item cool down thats what the ATB is, it's a cool down system

they have the same bar in tales game for items it's just not a called ATB, these are just gimmick names to make it seem like it something do it

and tales always had that because it game from JRPGS, so the item ATB was to mimick the turn system, and tales is also semi turn base, you have to know when it's your tune to do a combo, and when your'e suppose to dodge and in other games block, which is your waiting turn

they just implement ten times better than how it is in the remake, which is an updated system of the Crisis core system which just isn't that great
