Prolly cuz Sly got nominated for the Best Supporting Actor Oscar for his performance in Creed, where he was great. Sly did write the screenplay for Creed 2. Either way, they both two of the best entries in the Rocky franchise.

Yeah i'm clueless on this one. Did they think he wasn't going to make a trilogy? They were just gonna end with two movies?
Plus it was made pretty clear that the reigns were being passed to MBJ. Did they want Sly to be in every movie as he ages?
I was already sus about their treatment of MBJ when i heard they put him through a hazing ritual while filming the first Creed and had the boxers throw real punches at him during scenes. I think they've been quietly salty this whole time that the francise is being carried by a breh.

I thought Sly said Michael B was talking cocky so Sly told the boxer to give him a real punch and he got koed.
