So this is how the Roosevelt political cycle end in 2020.America typically goes through 80 year political cycles. The Roosevelt cycle started in 1940 and ends this year. A very consequential election year. We are entering a period of even more division and partisanship. From what I am hearing from alot off Dems if bytch McConell goes along with this Democrats are gonna go nuclear if they win the Senate. We need all types of reforms. Make DC and PR as states. Expand the House of Representatives. Pack the courts and the lower courts. Abolish the filibuster. We need radical ideas at this point to push back against the right wing.
I see this as the inverse of the 1980 election. Aka the end of the manufacturing economy and the beginning of the piss poor service economy. 2020 looks like the end of the Ronald Reagan style politics and misinformation and campaign bigotry and fears.

what they CAN do is issue bullshyt rulings that completely undercut and defang the amendments. this is what they did with the 14th amendment in cases like plessy v ferguson
