Losing Senate seats in North Dakota, Missouri and Indiana is nothing to be ashamed about if you're a Democrat. All of those were states Trump won by a huge margin and our politics has gotten even more polarized since 2012 (the year Donnelly, Heitkamp was elected, McCaskill re-elected). Also, Stabenow & Brown underperformed their polling numbers but they still won by decent margins. Also, Trump won Ohio by 8%, so Sherrod Brown being re-elected by 6% is still impressive.Yeah but numerous incumbent Dems lost their senate races (Nelson, McCaskill, Donnely, Heitkamp) and others (Stabenow, Brown) underperformed their polls
Bill Nelson was the only major f*ck up. Some blame goes to Nelson for not taking the race seriously until it was too late, blame also goes to the Broward County election officials who once again made a stupid ballot design and that ended up costing Nelson some votes.
