Biden said all of that shyt before RBG died. He has to realize that his presidency will be a waste if he doesn't pack the courts. They will strike down anything a democratic congress and a Biden administration passes. Essentially render his administration meaningless. And not only his administration but future democratic administrations for the next 50 years. The Dems need to get on his ass and expand the court with 8 more justices. fukk it. Expand the senate. Expand the House of representatives. The goal as crazy as it is is to maintain one party rule for the next . The time of niceties are fukking over. We are entering a new political era. The left needs to be ruthless and god damn it if the right threatened armed insurrection bring it on. I do not want war but at this point its time for the Dems to act the big government boogeyman that the right has lied about since the 80s. In times of great crisis is when major reforms that was needed passed. That has been always the case with American history.

I’m using the term “rules” the same way you are using the term “norms”. i understand that the constitution is very vague on confirming SC justices. Once this is over, I hope a law is passed specifying exactly how this process should work.
