I could see Wario introduced as a side, character, some comic relief or something. Kind of like Hammer in Iron Man 2

I could see him as a henchman for Bowser and then betray Bowser in the last act and steal his airship or whatever.

I’d give it a 8.5 they faithfully stayed true to what Super Mario is and had cool references. Had Peach acting more like Daisy, I like the nod to Donkey King 64 and Mario Kart. Def a kid movie though… wish they did sonic like this. I’d give it a 8.5, probably the best video game movie though

Metal Mario would be dope and a mario party reference would be cool. I liked how they showed baby Luigi l/Mario

I loved all the easter eggs and homages to classic Mario games of the past. Especially the remixing of the classic Mario music and the shoutout to Kid Icarus.

The movie also LOOKS gorgeous. Illumination really spared no expense with the animation.

That 2nd screenshot reminds me. The one thing bothers me about Peach's 3D design is that she has mutton chops.
