@Responsible Allen Iverson you and I are 2 of the 8 North Americans that actually bought a Wii U and this game; are we buying this port?

I have the Wii U version so I am not buying this at launch, but I will probably get it on sale some time in the future.

It’s fantastic..and probably a 10/10.
The only issue for me is that I played Mario Maker 2 to death so I am a bit bored of Mario concepts...

With that being said:

1, 3D world levels are incredibly clever and don’t look dated.. it could easy be a switch original.
2, Bowsers Fury really is stunning and a proper glimpse into the future. Early reviewers were not kidding.
It’s basically an equivalent of a x20 sized next gen post switch Mario Odyssey level . It plays so well!

(Ps I would rather be out at a bar with a beautiful woman than playing Mario period! but we are in a pandemic lockdown)

I wasn't a fan of odyssey either. I thought the levels were lightweight trash,
I didn't like that they didn't kept the art direction of previous mario games at all
