meh this is a tough one
On one hand WB has a merchandise monster with Harley Quinn and they don't want to lose the female and youth demo by unnecessarily darkening up their product.
I think the movie had the right balance it just didn't get cut right and the reshoots clearly changed the plot in regards to Harley and Joker towards the end.
When they do the sequel they just need to let Ayer cook this time since they know what audiences expect
I mean El Diablo was a hidden gem in this movie for me didn't expect to like him at all but ended up being one of my favorites.

. Alos I'm a sucker for the magic/ungrounded shyt and I don't think Nolan liked fooling with it. How would Nolan handled characters like Croc/Diablo/Enchantress etc? Also probably want to give them another chance to see if the shakeup they did by having Geoff Johns(I think that's right?) over the DC film stuff. The move won't have any affect on WW since it was already filmed before that. But you should see it on things like Aquaman, maybe JL. They have to give Ben Affleck a blank check to do his movie, so less interfering in that as well. Wan seems to really like Aquaman and he chose that over Flash, so that tells me he is somewhat passionate about it. I've also never really disliked/hated a Wan directed film. Give Ben and Wan a chance

Actually Geof Johnns was a part of Wonder Woman and all movies coming forward. MOS, BVS, and SS though didn't have him yet. Wonder Woman will be their most successful and best critically reviewed movie out of the 4 to me. It looks good and I can't waitTBH, I'm more interested in a Ben Affleck directed Batman movie than another Nolan one
