where did i imply that we shouldnt demand quality films?...what i asked was why do the DC movies have to be 'great' to be enjoyed, and the same standard isnt applied to all comic book movies...how even if the movie isnt 'great' but it's good, it still gets killed, like the example i gave...
it seems DC movies are being judged under a different set of rules in comparison to other comic movies....i say that cause shyt DC movies are getting drug through the mud for, other movies get a pass/it's forgiven...even
@Ebonic Plague suggested/notices the same thing...hell, even you just said the same thing: that DC movies must be great/have replay value, if they dont/arent, then that means they arent even good....when did that become the standard? and how come other movies dont get held to that same standard?....
as for you naming winter soldier...i like winter soldier, it's one of marvel's better movies...but it's only 1 outta what 13 movies....now, we both know the other 12 movies arent on the same level of WS, but the ones that arent didnt get killed the way the 3 movies for DC have so far, even though they have some of the same issues people point out for the DC movies, i.e. pacing, weak story/plot/villain, etc....people werent killing them post after post, tracking how they did in the box office from day to day, etc. like they are the DC movies...seriously, people are really using the money made from thurs & fri combined in comparison to sat, and using that as an indicator of the quality of the movie...when have you ever seen that before for a movie? the only other time i saw that was with BvS when they started reported about box office totals from countries no one has ever cared about....
