I think Michelle McClaren would be good. She has only done TV so far but it is some of the best episodes of TV for some of the best shows like Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones and Walking Dead.

She did the "A" episode of The Walking Dead (the one where Rick, Carl and Michonne run into Daryl and the Claimers and Rick rips dude's throat out with his teeth.)

She's done some of the better action heavy episodes of Game of Thrones.

She did a ton of great Breaking Bad episodes like "To’hajiilee" and "4 Days Out".

She also recently signed a deal with WB/HBO.

Kathryn Bigelow should direct it she did hurt locker
we're gonna act like this was a super action packed romp? That movie overrated as a motherfukker. it had slightly more combat action than Jarhead, which had none.

Zero Dark Thirty would have been a better movie to mention, and even that is 75% a political thriller.

Women, women, women, this is getting out of hand. This movie doesn't need a female director. There are like 3 capable. Wonder Woman is gonna be lame unless they throw a really good male antagonist in the mix, and surround her with other heroes, be real. Female action heroes don't carry films.

She showed she could do action well with Point Break and Strange Days though. I understand why they want to get a woman director for a couple reasons not the least of which is because of the whole feminist icon thing when it comes to the character of Wonder Woman.

And female action heroes have been proven to work you just need the right people working on the project.

It's being reported that the solo WW movie will be set in the 1920s and the sequel during WW2

http://www.bleedingcool.com/2014/10...the-1920s-and-its-sequel-during-world-war-ii/

We know there’s a Wonder Woman movie coming in 2017. We know it will star Gal Gadot in the lead, and she also appears inBatman Vs Superman: Dawn Of Justice.

But as of this date, we presumed it would be set in the modern day. Well, why wouldn’t we?

It’s not. I have been informed by those who have seen the greenlit treatment that the film will spend the first half on Paradise Island with warring Amazon factions vying for control.

An arrival of a man on the island changes that status quo, as he asks the Amazons for help. Not necessarily Steve Trevor either…

Because when Wonder Woman joins him on his return to the world of Man, we all discover that it is the 1920s. And the film will then show Diana exploring that world – a world where women have only just got the vote – from her… unique perspective.

A planned sequel would then take place during World War II in the thirties and forties. This of course was the period that the seventies TV show began in, before shifting to the then-modern day.

And a threequel would then take place in the modern day, with the Justice League Of America.

So. Not the Wonder Woman we were expecting. But the period-set Captain America; The First Avenger didn’t do too badly, did it?

:ehh:

People said that about "The Back To the Future" Trilogy in the early 90's then "The Jurassic Park" Trilogy then "The Matrix Trilogy". But time and time again it proves. If you have a CLASSIC 1st film, the rest of trilogy gets that Classic stamp too.

I have never heard anyone say the Jurassic park trilogy is classic. People only talk about the first movie, it's like the next two don't even exist.

I don't even remember what the 2nd MIB was about and the third one was wack.
