the ether
Many players couldn’t have shyt, cause it’s others that have played under D’Antoni and ain’t get it so that’s dead
D'antoni hasn't had any other elite shooters who were only expected to put up 10-12 shots/game. Come on now.

Playing the if game dead too,Nash went to D’Antoni and it is what it is,we can play the if game with damn near any player and change their careers for the worst or better.
Name one other GOAT who looked so unimpressive for so long.

Fam who cares when he made All nba first and second teams the fact is he did it,he still had to put that work in lol y’all say the dumbest things like he just got handed it no he earned it point blank period all that if this if that don’t matter because we can do that for any player. ANY PLAYER
CP3 bounced around different teams, different systems, and consistently looked great. Jason Kidd bounced around different teams, different systems, and consistently looked great. Other than possibly Stockton (who we never got to see in another system), there isn't any other point guard whose success was so clearly dependent on him being in the right system. I think Stockton is way overrated, but at least his stans can pretend that he still would have been a GOAT in a different system.

Nash fans can't do that cause there are receipts.

people care too much about MVPs when they've never been about acknowledging the best player in the NBA. It's narrative, team success and regular season performance without any consideration for the playoffs. Shaq didn't get robbed and Kobe didn't get robbed. That's just how the voting works.

Nash is one of the most influential offensive players ever and deserves to be in that top five PG all time conversation, as well as the top 30 player all time conversation. That's all that matters.

Who are your top 10 PGs? I keep seeing ppl talk about status and disrespect but nobody will actually say where they think he stands. I don’t think anybody is saying he’s not one of the best

2 time MVP*

*04-05 MVP should have gone to Kevin Garnett
*05-06 MVP should have gone to Lebron James or Kobe Bryant.

:coffee:

Kobe deserved 06 MVP yall know that

Give MVPS to 7th seed leaders brehs

04-05 Suns

Amar'e Stoudemare: 26 PPG, 9 RPG, 1.6 BPG & 1 STL
Shawn Marion: 19.4 PPG, 11.3 RPG, 2 SPG & 1.5 BPG
Joe Johnson: 17.1 PPG, 5.1 RPG, 3.5 APG & 1 SPG
Quentin Richardson: 15.1 PPG, 6.1 RPG & 1 SPG

Cac had a squad around him that year and still couldn't win shyt.
Act like Joe Johnson didn't break his face and miss first few games of the WCF and wasn't the same with a face mask brehs

Act like Nash didn't fluke break his nose vs spurs another year in crunch time in 4th quarter

Ignore the hip check and amare suspension

Ignore Donaghy fixing games for spurs in same series.

Or Tim Duncan making fluke 3 in 08

Or artest buzzer beater of kobes airball

Most Consecutive Seasons as PG for No. 1 Team in Offensive Rating
Steve Nash 9 2001-10
Stephen Curry 3 2015-18
Magic Johnson 3 1984-87

The ones giving him props ain’t getting destroyed.

Nash is only 1 of 3 PG’s in NBA history to win MVP 2x

Only 1 of 6 players in NBA history to win MVP back to back

ONLY player in NBA history with 4 50-40-90 seasons

Only 1 of 5 PG’s in NBA history to lead the league in assist 5x

Dude deserves way more respect than he gets

He was a co-anchor on a team that produced several of the best offenses of all time (relative to league average), so he was certainly contributing to an all time great stretch on a team level. Then in Phoenix he continued to contribute to an all time great offensive stretch on a team level, except this time he was the primary anchor for said team. The reason you don't dismiss his Dallas stretch is because it adds to the evidence that Steve Nash as a team anchor = historic team level

:laff:

I can’t take you dudes seriously.... Nash averaged 8 to10 shots a game....

Cause he was setting everybody else up to eat you fukkin imbecile :hhh:

He was shooting more than 8-10 times a game too you pulled that out your ass. One of his biggest reasons for his 2nd MVP is carrying a bigger offensive load without Amare

Brehs go through all kinds of loops to disrespect him, not only the MVP thing. Saying that 'Antoni "made him" in Phoenix when he was an All-Star in Dallas and made the WCF before. Now some breh is comparing him to Paul George :francis:

The ultimate irony is that y'all keep proving my point, acting like the comparison is an insult to Nash....that multiple people would scream foul to that, it's proof positive that Nash is being overrated, and that putting him in his proper place is NOT disrespect

up to their year 29 season Paul George is far and away the more accomplished player between the two

PG
6X Allstar
5X All NBA(including a 1st team)
4X All Defensive Team (including multiple 1st teams)
multiple conference finals runs (beat by Prime Bron on a superteam since "bu bu but Nash had to play against Tim Duncan like pretty much every great player did at some point in that era :damn:" keeps getting brought up as a excuse and moral victory)

Nash at the point PG is currently in career
2X Allstar
2X All NBA

on what merit are y'all acting like Paul George is beneath a comparison to Steve Nash? :mjtf:

Nash didn’t set shyt up like you think.... it doesn’t take much for a prime stat or ISO Joe, or Shawn Marion to get open in D’antoni’s system... a lot of those assists are homerun plays.... not plays where Nash set someone up off dribble play..... and Nash wasn’t even the leading scorer on his team when Stat got hurt that year.... :childplease:
