The stimulus package being offered by Trump is way bigger than anything proposed by Chuck and Nancy. Direct checks to Americans is going to play way better than that watered down paid sick leave garbage proposed by Nancy that exempts most companies.
Now they have no choice but to co-sign Trump's plan and in the process give him ammunition for the general.

Well I did hear an ABC reporter a day or two ago said something about a possible income cutoff on determining who gets a check...meaning well off ppl like actors/actress, athletes, doctors etc wouldn't be included.
The belief is that ppl who work good jobs should have money (savings) in these situations since they're not living paycheck to paycheck compared to lower income individuals/families who will struggle harder in these current times...

People want money in their pocket to assuage their concerns over how they're going to pay their bills and provide for their family.
People want to know that if they are infected with the Coronavirus they can get testing and treatment and not be blanketed with debt.
The only people really caring about whether a corporation gets money or not are the same people who were already talking about it.
People see through the false choice some of yall are presenting between corporate welfare and social welfare.
