has anyone in here who is acting like the only thing to vote on in an election is the presidential race ever actually voted before?

I voted 2004, haven't voted locally or nationally since.
My principals changed and now I find it against my beliefs to engage in participating in elections
There are others who don't vote for religious beliefs, like Jehovah's Witness, Amish, and etc.

He's going about change in a more hands on manner. Do you not see his efforts since he's been kneeling?
Change comes with policy.

I'm actually getting my masters in Public Policy now. He's young...he can evolve, but he could have least find a local candidate worth backing.

The Bay Area? Mannnn......it's full of down ass folks. It's one of the last bastions of black intellectualism.

So how does that happen, when big business basically picks the two candidates that you're able to choose from?

Would you like a turd salad? Or a shyt sandwich?
It's a long and shytty process breh I don't disagree with you :yeshrug:

So why don't we shyt on Jehova's Witnesses because they sure don't vote.

Because Screamin A is an uncle tom that looks for black athletes to shyt on. That's how he vents his frustrations, and panders to white audiences.

I really wanted to give that show a shot, because I like Kellerman, but that uncle tom is just too much.

He's been linking up with black scholars. Grass root level activism has been proven to work far better than policies that aren't designed to work for us.

Understand this breh, this country is run by corporations and their buddies in congress.

They won't allow anyone that won't do what they want into office.

When Kennedy started stepping on toes, trying to do the right thing, they killed his ass and blamed it on some crazy guy.

This country, as George Carlin put it, is bought and sold already. This voting shyt is for the naive.

Now understand i'm not talking about local shyt, because I'm happy prop 64 was passed and I don't even smoke.

No they haven't. Grassroots movements stay there. They take that leap when they become a bloc that enacts policies or get together to remove or vote out those that need to be kicked out.

I don't know what you're basing as being better.

Especially since he probably agrees with Trump on a lot issues. Unless Trump has curved in the past and he caught feelings.

They had a lot of policy change for black americans after 1865, slavery banned, blacks allowed to vote, blacks made citizens and guaranteed due process and equal protection under the law.

The majority of the people didn't care about the policy and still looked at black americans as subhuman, so what effect did that policy have? none. They just found a way to justify and do what they were doing before, but in a different way.

Change doesn't come with policy, change, real change, occurs when the minds and heart of people change position and say this isn't right I won't support it.
IMHO

Would you mind naming some successful policies that have been enacted that benefited black people?

Usually black politicians are placed in token positions with no real power.

So let's just forget what Kaep is trying to do, and the message he is sending because "he didn't vote"

What the hell is he trying to do? You provoke change by VOTING. It's a horrible day in hell when I have to side with Screamin' Stephen. Dude's a joke. He could've voted for Beyonce, for all I gave a fukk. But to not even go!?!?
