judges are voted in. sheriffs are voted in. school board members are voted in. assemblymen are voted in. city and state ordinances and statutes are up for vote. fukk your stance if youre not actively apart of trying to change it at that level
You are telling me platitudes about why you think people should vote.
That is fine, no one said you shouldn't vote if you want to, my statement is simple.
Colin not voting doesn't do anything to diminish or take away from what he was protesting.

your emotionalism in lashing out and not being able to address the topic shows you are tied to a mantra, much like the white folks and their anger about not standing for the flag in protest. You are angry about the wrong thing, mad at the people who support these cops in killing and vote, rather than a person against.

Of course the ATL
It is weak as fukk for Kaepernick to not vote. I get that he didn't like either one of the two but dude didn't even vote in local elections? :francis:

I respect everything he did with the anthem but sitting out the vote completely doesn't help things.

I respect Kaep with the anthem shyt but by not voting he undermines his own credibility

Man please :camby:

You do realize that you have the right to not vote :stopitslime:

Why vote out of obligation, tradition and fear? :what:

Man please what? Of course I know you have the right not to vote. I'm not demonizing anyone who doesn't, my question is why. Like I said I understand apathy towards the government........so you vote to change at least IMO

Most people are speaking about the presidential candidates
as already stated. he can write in or select none of the above for president. theres dozens of other things on the bay area ballot at the city and state levels that affect those citizens much more than anything the president does. he doesnt care enough to have an opinion there. undermines anything he says

Not weak at all, depending on his personal beliefs about voting.
Don't get mad about the man because he doesn't have the same values that you do or same political outlook.
What you really need to be checking is why people are trying to attack what he was protesting against as being meaningless because he didn't vote, why are they publicly trying to destroy this man from the left and the right.

Should let you know he is probably on to something more threatening to the power structure than you even realize.

A big % of the people who hate kaepernick are in the polls voting. They are voting in politicians who are going to continue to create the type of gov't that allows police officers to get off killing blacks.

He is at home doing nothing. His jersey also became on of the best sellers in the NFL, a lot of people are looking up to dude. He's sending the message that they just shouldn't vote.

Especially not understanding him when is reasoning is just that he disliked both Clinton/Trump. A lot of people felt that way and still went to the polls.

Think one vote matters brehs :mjlol: $hillary won the popular vote and CA was blue. His vote literally did not matter
Its not about Hillary, its the local contests that has a bigger chance in making changes with Police practices, judges, etc. The President can't affect any of that state and local issues like elected DA's, Mayors, etc...
