bron wade and bosh all took paycuts so they could have good vets around them. But somehow the roster was still flawed, ok :mjlol:

maybe if the 27ppg scorer didnt turn into a high end roleplayer, they would've won.

If the alleged GOAT didn't get outplayed by old ass jason terry and 5'9 JJ Barea, maybe the Heat win.
JJ Barea averaged 9 points a game on 38% shooting you bytch ass old fakkit :mjlol:

You lying ain’t gonna change the fact Lebron is 40 in the league doing shyt that ain’t been done in history and you’re a 45 old cock sucking fakkit bringing up a series that happened when you were a 30 year old cock sucking fakkit.

All 2011 analysts and fans were saying

“The Heat won’t win because they don’t have interior presence and their point guard is a completely washed Mike Bibby. They also have zero bench”

Lebron

“ we didn’t have a complete team, but I also played bad”

That 2011 Heat team was not a good roster at all despite their record.

People get blindsided and figure just having Bron, Wade, and Bosh all in their primes means you should win with anybody on the roster. That team was badly constructed and full of washed and deadweight (not to far from retiring or just getting fat on the bench) players.

Pat knew which is why he improved the roster after that Finals lost.

You can have 2-3 stars on the roster but if the role players aren't good or playing up to par then it won't matter. Basketball is a team sport. This is the reason why I was not surprised to see the Suns get eliminated by the Nuggets last postseason despite Booker and KD pretty much taking all the shots.

Phoenix had the star power but, Denver had the complete team (star, competent role players).

the discussion brought up by jj was that he didnt believe the heat were a superteam and lebron agreed, thats insane. pointing out the heat werent perfect doesnt mean they werent a superteam.

And this was said before and during the season that the Heat running out an ancient Eric Dampier and Joel 2.2 ppg career average Anthony for 20 minutes a game
was going to suck.

Also Lebron and Wade being basically the same player and Bosh being a finesse player with iffy defense and rebounding. Compared to the previous big three for the Celtics who were all vastly different players.

Even then after starting off the season off 20-8, they would go on to go - including the playoffs - 58 and 19 and were well in their way to crushing the Mavericks going up 2-0 in the series.

I think that 4th quarter against the Mavs did something to them psychologically they didn’t recover from the whole series. Lebron for the first time was the second option on offense and I think that was bad for the entire team as he was focused on making the correct play instead of shooting himself back into the series.

That's not what JJ said. He was making the point that role players matter on a team, and being a supstar in your role is incredibly important, and just as important as the big stars on a championship level team

LeBron backed up that point, stating that the Heat roster didn't have the players necessary that 1st year to maximize their scheme and what they wanted to do on the offensive and defensive end

LeBron never said that 2011 roster was weak. Idk how people have the podcast that you can literally listen to and STILL be wrong lol

This was really the issue. It wasn't that Lebron was taking crazy shots and air balling and missing everything during that series... He shot 48% in the Finals, which is around his career average.

The issue was the way that the Mavs were defending LeBron made him decide to go pass first, let Wade be the #1 scoring option and he simply never looked to score. It was a terrible mistake, which is why Wade later apparently told LeBron that the Heat goes as far as HE will take them.
