They should have had at least ggg from hbo side and AB/Danny/Thurman from PBC side

Yeah there was no long term booking from either side pretty much Floyd and Manny cashing out shyt they barely did any big time promo for that fight at all. They could've built up some guys and gave them a rub to the general public if I didn't give a shyt about boxing and watched that card at a party or better yet paid 100 dollars I'd never buy another PPV again after that.

@patscorpio is right about Don King for as much shyt he received his undercards were worth the money ain't nobody trying to pay all that cash to watch 1 fight cards anymore that's why UFC been killing it in buyrates you get guaranteed 5 fight show and a good shot to get someone elevated by end of the show to build to something down the road.

Even if they only worked together once card should have been:

Garcia vs Jesse Vargas ( I could live with this. I like Vargas to a degree, just no Manny PPV)

Thurman vs Bradley

Donaire/Loma/Walters vs Santa Cruz or Mares. At least casuals could say " hey the rest of the card was nice I'll tune into XYZ fighter even if main event sucked".

Would've done everything in my power to showcase Deontay Wilder if I'm PBC shyt he fought a month after May/Pac anyway

If I'm the HBO/Arum side they could've held off on Bud fighting Dulorme couple weeks earlier and featured him on the PPV

Biggest fight in 30 years got booked like March 17th for May cinco de mayo weekend....no build up , no ability for other guys to get on the card nothing...godforsaken missed opportunity.

As much as I can't stand Dana White or Don King they would NEVER blow an opportunity like that. Perfect example Danny Garcia is from Philly he should be on Fox helping call an Eagles game on national TV against someone like the Giants or Dallas getting his name out there promoting his fights. These dudes are only known to people on this board.

Yeah and Haymon has a rich stable of fighters but they aren't fighting each other, some don't even fight at all and the ones that do fight are fighting nobodies.

Trust I know Steve Kim is awful....it was more for context and multiple sources. At some point someone from PBC will need to address this. And yes if Richard Schaefer ran this boy it would have been much different. As much as it sucks now to admit HBO and Showtime will be back in charge next year. A few more months on the shelves and guys will be out. If you're Thurman and don't get Spence Jr or Garcia in 3-6 months then what?

Thurman is going to fight some unknown 38 year old southpaw because that Porter fight was too rough

I have heard from a few about it. Many not happy at all.

Let this extend into Halloween and Thanksgiving and you'll see some anger boiling over. These dudes got duped and may need to talk to Oscar or Arum. They're both CON MEN but they gotta be looking out for themselves at this point. Gonna be seeing some buyouts soon. Gonna be interesting if they can work with them based on their advisor agreements.

To expound more on this, I do accounting. I'm an assistant controller. However, I don't have an accounting degree, yet. I beat out accountants for this position by being far more proficient at Excel. (Learning Excel will increase your salary boys and girls.) Anyways, I have my undergrad degree in marketing, MBA is healthcare management. So, for my third and final degree, bachelor's in accounting to bolster my experience now. We are in audit season and there was a lot of work to get us to where we need to be.

the bolded..absolute truth...im a database guy so excel i know like the back of my hand...but it amazes me when there are people who can't even do a simple v lookup for crying out loud..they stay having excel workshops within my company
