The way I've been eating and going to the gym 3-4 x week has already helped me lose 5 lbs...I want to lose 10 more by next month (I'm going to a wedding and I have a hot dress...I wanna slim down more before then).

I'm not trying to be skinny...I love having curves...hopefully I can lean out a bit more and be more muscular. I just want to be strong and fit.

Also, I love my calorie tracker...wear it all the time now when I'm working out.

Still not great, but I've only really started going to the gym within the last 2 weeks. I'm eager to get rid of the stomach fat and get stronger as I'm extremely weak, despite being 6'2 210lbs. Plan is to stick with Stronglifts for the next 4-6 months or so and then switch to a slightly more advanced program once I have a good base level of fitness under my belt.

No homo breh, but what kind of exercises you do for your chest? I need mines to be little bigger, plus my bench-press. What's your method?

I actually feel like I need to work on the Middle of my chest more....but I rarely do barbell press just dumbells, incline mostly! I start with incline and then flat. Plenty of cable work and pressing machines. I do plenty of dips also.

so do you lift heavy with low amount of reps ( ie- 10-15 rep) or less weight more reps (10-20 rep)? :ohhh:

i know if you want to become stronger/bigger you need lift heavy.

They say that using dbs helps hit flex the entire pec more and a machine too (forgot which one)... @ThugLife dropped a video in @KOOL-AID 's thread a while back talking about it.

i know if you want to become stronger/bigger you need lift heavy.

The past month I have been doing 12-15 reps, but traditionally I stick between 8-12.

I am enjoying the higher reps though so may stick to it for a while and just add a power lift every now and then...for example last week I loaded up on bent over bar row and did 5 heavy reps but the rest of my workout was high reps.

Try doing 3 x incline press (DB) superset with 3 x Cable cross overs on a incline bench. Love this combo

What kind of supplements do you guys take?

  • Protein powder
  • CLA
  • L-Carnitine

I don't think I need more than this, thoughts?
