Hey brehs So I'm back on my getting in shape grind. This summer was as far as my fitness and diet were concerned but I'm ready to get back on track. My goal is 155lbs, currently at 163(was 171 a couple weeks ago). Right now, my diet is very very low carb, and my workouts for the next several weeks are going to center around cardio--hiit on the treadmill 3x per week, 4 mile outdoor run 2x per week plus some ab work. I've been in the mid 160s for over a year and am trying one last time to get down to 155 or just accept maintaining in this weight range Oh yea, I'm 5'5''

I used to be cut and made some good gains but stopped going gym for a while, got with my chick and we eat out alot so i am now fat. Im going gym tomorrow again to get back into my routine. Do yall have any tips as to what i should do to start off? I read somewhere that when you start off in the gym again you should do compound exercises for about a month so like deadlifts squats bench dips pull ups etc. Is that true?
