I enjoyed Starfield for what it was. Was it perfect. No. But I had fun. With a few updates and some mods in the future it will be an amazing game.
This is the dumb ass sony stan strategy.

Number 1 single player game on the year in the fortnight era seems like a pretty hefty achievement, for any game.
And the game ain’t even get its mod support or DLC/Updates etc.

One of the most hyped games of the year on a subscription service with close to 30 million subs. Those other games you're comparing it to people actually had to buy to even play. You go back and look at the reception it got on even Steam and it tuns out a lot of people played Starfield and either didn't like it or bounced off it. The game came and went pretty fast. It squeezed a lot into about that first month when it came out and after then faded.
So go ahead and continue with the mischaracterization that a lot of people many of which didn't have to spend money to play did play the game as wide approval of the game. In reality it was a flash in the pan.
I like how the fact that Starfield is the 'only single player game on the list' ON CONSOLE continues to be looked past. This isn't a total list, this is a specific list and people still jumping out a window acting like the mid game wasn't mid.
But worse: the game didn't chart on the system that will have the most mod support available for it.
Why?
Because it can't be modded the way the previous games could in terms of functionality. Which means all this victory lap bullshyt is moot, because the thing that normally buoys Bethesda games is the very mod community that has collectively decided to not give a shyt about this game. Which means we have evidence it'll age worse than Skyrim and the game hasn't even been out a year
But this was made to be a bait thread and was never a thread made in good faith, so fukk it; go off
