I’m genuinely confused at all the uproar about this game. I wanted Skyrim in Space. This is exactly what the game is.

Got the same jank, same gameplay from 2010. It’s Skyrim in Space and I fukk with it.

It’s a 7/10 at best, Bethesda has never been capable of anything better. Maybe expectations were too high for some.

Payola is obvious. They just didn't pay everybody.

If they paid IGN all of their subsidiaries would have given it the same score. IGN brazil is own by the same people as ign usa

exactly my point. they would be on same page if they were paid to give positive or negative reviews. not disagreeing with each other internally.

I've been watching walkthroughs for the past 3 days, and i feel like the 7/10 is an accurate score. Not saying the game is trash though. Just not great.

It's actually the reverse if you want to stay with the logic of your argument.Sony a Japanese company didn't care about local reviews and paid a foreign american reviewer to give it a 7/10.

this is nothing but a random conspiracy theory. Game isn't that good. If i was to believe these reviewers got paid individualy in each department of ign under the same umbrella company, It would actually be more likely someone paid off everybody else except the american reviewer to give it inflated reviews. Because the game is not a 10/10.

They were doing global releases if it’s the same time as early access you should be able to play after 5EST tonight

I don't think he got paid, but he might not like Microsoft that much because he said stuff in the past about acquisition.

Anyway, at the end of the day their review doesn't matter because the game is at least an 8/10 and many are having a good time with it. I don't think the MC score will affect how you feel about the game, and this will def be a game that many will be playing for years.
