Its not use LB and select a mission once you do it will light up.... utilize the arrows on the ground to tell you where to go

Yo is there no local map to the area you're currently in? I'm on new Atlantis and I'm keep getting lost trying to go between areas and such

Use the scanner to view points of interest and press RB to view the surface map that lets you fast travel to whatever point. It will also highlight a trail of you have your marker set

There’s not a traditional map but if you use the scanner and markers you’ll be able to get to all your main points of interest pretty easy
