:stopitslime:

By that logic - HE'S A MILLIONAIRE! - why even own multiple Series X's when he can own multiple 4090 PC's?

Maaaybe he has an S in his house because he isn't just developing the game for one console and maaaybe he's just doing his job by also playing the game on the Series S.

Now get the fukk out the thread! You ain't team xbox and you ain't GameGame you don't belong here!!

:pacspit:

If the game gets good reviews I might stream it or build a pc

You shouldn’t talk to a potential Starfielder in that tone

I’ll give you a pass this time.

Yeah... because the S splitscreen issue was an untenable situation before release. If you think they went into development 'let's launch on Sony first!' when this game entered EA before any of the new consoles dropped, you're a fool.
They hit a wall on the technical side with the S because of the platform parity mandate, and instead of sitting there ramming into it, swerved and moved forward with the path of least resistance.

Y'all want to be the underserved, oppressed party so bad with devs going out of their way to skip you. Because you can't accept that it is bad Xbox brass decisionmaking that is preventing that.

Larian ain't want to drop their game staggered to this degree, you nincompoop. Circumstances required it. Circumstances surrounded the Series fukking S. Note the complete dearth of statements saying there were design issues for the X. There are none. Because nothing precludes that system from running the mechanics the game requires.

fukking idiocy :snoop: It's like you have an aversion to basic reading comprehension and will twist and mold a sentence into meaning what you think it means devoid of context.

And you keep bringing this all back when; again. We tryna talk about Starfield again finally. But you just can't take your L in peace.
I figured you'd be used to them by this point, jesus.

Hey man, i’m not even reading all of this.

We literally have direct statements from Larian with regard to the series S release.

Whatever you’ve made up in your head is just tales from your ass at this point :manny:

Larian says “series s isn’t a hinderance we just gotta optimize and we prioritized other platforms first”

@Novembruh says “Larian don’t know what optimization is, shytbox s is trash”

TYRONE GA!
So would you say the Series S forcing a game tied with Tears of the Kingdom as the best reviewed game of the year with a 96 score on Metacritic to be a timed console exclusive for the PS5 is a win for Xbox?

That extra time the Series S required cost them a GOTY candidate this year.
why do you waste your braincells on Meach? :martin:

These all the same folks trying to crucify Sony for "timed exclusives".

Now it's "We don't mind getting the game later, it's a win for the series S!"

:mjlol:

the game getting a 6 month delay due to technical difficulties is now a win somehow

If sony had paid to “moneyhat’ the game for that long it would be world war 3

Quit making shyt up. This is a quote from the Larian CEO.

"Vincke also likened developing for the Xbox Series S to developing for the Nintendo Switch and minimum spec PCs. Unlike consoles, PC gaming isn't a homogenised singular platform--everyone has their own build with its own hardware. You might have a top-of-the-line graphics card that set you back thousands of pounds, or something from two years ago that still holds up okay. Porting to a PC typically means casting a wide net, implementing plenty of graphical options to let people find what works for them. The Switch meanwhile is the weakest of all 'current-gen' consoles, but Larian Studios did get Divininity: Original Sin 2 to work on the platform. It just took a little longer. Xbox Series S is in the same boat."

you claiming disappointed neutrality but cheering on one side

No, I didn't. I said it general. Me agreeing with someone about the plans for the s doesn't mean I don't think the entire convo is pointless

Like I said, what's the point arguing points about the series s (some false, maybe not from you but definitely from some) when larian said the game is still coming? They just don't have the time/resources to release it at the same time.

The issue is people extrapolating this to other things (see Forza motorsports where the dev precisely says why they cut certain features but people blame it on the s when two were for literal design reasons) and people saying stupid shyt like Halo Infinite didn't have split screen because of the S, while omitting the game launched on the original xbox one.

shyt is just disingenuous

See, this is an example. This nikka is quoting the CEO when the nikkas he quoting posted something from this same exact interview where he says the S isn't holding back development and he literally says the series s is "perfectly fine." And says they don't have infinite resources

Y'all are literally quoting the same article.

Bruh, he compared it to a Switch and low end PCs. Folks can get Doom to play on TI-86, does that mean it's good?

Folks are looking for the best experience, and that would be Series X or PC.

Quit lying to these folks.

“Xbox series S just needs more optimization like lower end PC and switch”

That’s all i been saying the whole time. I’m not sure what you think you are proving here.

nikka, the switch is one of the best selling consoles of all time and has one of the highest rated games ever. With an insane attachment rate.

Is that not good?

And you have literally 0 idea how it's running yet. What are you gonna say if it runs smoothly even with split screen with an acceptable resolution/frame rate?

What happens then?

And who the fukk is looking for the best experience that bought a series S? The cheaper machine everyone knew was weaker than the X?

Hell, if you care about the best experience, why are you playing on console anyways?
