The criticisms of this movie are weird

Finn wasn’t a coward. Man tried to kill himself for the Rebels.

Luke always been insecure, and he in his 60s. He jaded. Nothing is wrong with that.

Rian Johnson was great and I wish he directed the next movie in the series and not Abrams. This story was great.

Freddie Prinze Jr, Amin Elsshan, and Pablo Torre talked about it. Prinze is some dope nuggets in here about the movie, including the origins of thre hyper space tracking plan.

Was gonna listen but really only 4 minutes of legitimate criticisms and the rest saying how it's the greatest movie ? I'll pass

They criticized the fight scene in front of Snoke and some other stuff. That was later.

The detail stuff was great to me.

Finn met Rose because she caught him trying to run away. He's seen what the FO can do, blah blah...nowhere to hide...blah blah. Even their dummy mission, he was really looking for a way to save Rey for when she returned. But all of this also happened in the first movie, so....why revisit?

Luke wasn't insecure, ee was wide-eyed. He was optimistic to the point of naivety. He wanted to save everyone, against everyone's wishes. Save his friends against Yoda's wishes, save his pops, against Obi Wan's wishes, save the galaxy...Even with the same thing happening between Luke and his nephew, and he had a temporary moment of weakness, he'd die trying to keep him away from Snoke. That's Luke.

Rian Johnson delivered a good movie, with different characters, not the ones with 40 years of history and not even the ones from the previous movie. It works better as an ep of Rebels.

Finn woke up and his first thoughts were about an overpowered woman who couldn't give less of a care about him. :wow: The directors made his costar wear a fatsuit, just to show he'd never be the love interest of a universally(no pun intended) attractive woman :wow: After he fumbled his mission and got himself and his chubby costar caught and was on his knees handcuffed, he literally got backhand slapped, while being verbally abused. :wow: Nothing got done to the woman next to him, but the director of the film made sure Finn got slapped around and degraded. Didn't even have the villain punch him or treat him like a man, but made the villain slap him like a battered housewife. :wow: Had Finn riding bytch on the back of the animals they broke free while his female costar led the escape. :wow: Then his female costar took away his only potential hero moment by crashing into him and then schooling him with a pep talk. :wow: They are running out of ways to disrespect this guys character. :scust:

The big twist in episode 8 should have been that Rey's parents are nobodies but Finn descends from a Jedi.

The story has focused on who rey's parents are from the very first film and have for some reason ignored the fact that Finn doesn't know where he came from either :ohhh:

But the thing is Disney doesn't want Finn to be a fully fleshed out character and they will probably never let him have importance in this trilogy:wow:
