Yes the Asian lady can't act for shyt, but there was no chemistry or any semblance of romantic overtures between the two characters.
I guess Disney decided to avoid the backlash from racists by completely ignoring the chemistry that Rey and Finn had in the first film :martin:

A Finn vs kylo fight in episode 9 would have been interesting now that they have made Kylo obsessed with rey :francis:

There was no build up to his fight with captain Phasma so it fell flat

But Finn got his ass beat by Kylo in the first film and they have established that kylo likes rey so this would have been the only storyline worth waiting for in episode 9.

They should have had Rey join Kylo at the end of episode 8 then have a finn needs to change Rey's mind and beat kylo story to end the trilogy. :wow:

fukk no. That's one of the oldest cliches in the book. 'Girl and guy develop a bond, main villain comes along and steals off with her, guy takes the entire length of the next movie to win her back'. Sounds like some Total Drama Island shyt...

People were reading his face in other interviews so they want him to tweet out from now own.

It is impressive that they made their money back in only two movies. Someone in here said never sell your baby and Lucas may regret selling his baby or he felt the price was not high enough.

Lucas definately undersold everything considering he also sold Lucas films along with all its properties. I think after the prequels he was tired and just said fukk it let me dump this shyt. What he should have done was keep the license and start producing more Star Wars movies and have story points but have other directors come in and direct. He should have also sought assistance with the script and dialogue. This way at least characters he created would not be b*stardised.

That's what he tried with Empire/Jedi, but he discovered he couldn't do it and became a control freak. He ghostdirected most of Jedi and was bothering Kershner nonstop with Empire.

He didn't initially plan on directing the prequels but all his friends went :hubie: because they knew how much of a freak he was and Spielberg convinced him to do it himself.

That's why he sold it and went :hubie:because he really wanted to get rid of it. He did still think they would use his outlines, but when Kathleen told him they would go for a retro soft remake he went :martin::what::scusthov: and backed out.

That would've made too much sense.
Can't have the brother have too much of a role now or he'll overshadow Rey/Kylo Ren:pachaha: (Judging from their point of view :pachaha:)

A Star Wars movie with no lightsaber battle:mjlol:

A Star Wars movie that treats an original main character that's over 40 years old like dogshyt :mjlol:

No set up for the next movie despite the franchise being a "saga" :mjlol:

How did this trash even get past script approval? :mjlol:

This is the director they've given a trilogy too:mjlol:,

Star Wars about to go the same way as The DCEU :picard:.

Lucas gave them two damn storyline outlines for the next trilogy and all they had to do was follow it. Outlines which treated the OG's with respect. Now y'all are permanently stuck with Luke being coward who went out like a bytch. Han being a deadbeat father who went out like a bytch. All to prop up lame new characters like Kylo Ren and Rey :wow:

Y'all truly fukking lost :wow:

Maybe it's a parallel timeline. Like the Abramsverse in Star Trek. I for damn sure don't accept that crap as true Trek. Can do the same with Disney's version of Star Wars.

If it ain't Lucas' vision, it's not the main timeline.

The character of Finn makes no fukking sense in the grand scheme of things. Considering how he was raised and the time frame of things.
He makes no sense because they profoundly changed his storyline with his casting. Something happened between shooting and editing in TFA. A bean counter lost heart somewhere.
