Disagree on the last part

And as far as the second, its always about answering questions that characters have. Any question that's been answered in a Star Wars movie has been a question the characters themselves have. Who is Luke's father? What happened to him? What happened in the Clone Wars? Who is the other Skywalker? Those are all questions characters had not specific to fans. So if a character within this universe wants to know who Snoke is, then that should be answered. But you don't answer it just because the fans say they want it.
Huh?:mindblown:

WTF you’re talking in circles.

So the franchise is about answering big questions WITH BIG ANSWERS. This film does the complete opposite but somehow it’s okay?:camby:

Sooo..are you agreeing with me or not? And Star Wars was also about Anakin's redemption, hence the title of the third flick.

you are rating the villain based on cognitive question people asked after the dark turn comics took in the eighties.
as a change from the arise of mother's groups meddling.
you are asking star wars in essence to be governed in ex post facto for something that was not around then.

all this romance the villain shyt was after mother's group meddled in the marketing of toys post release of return of the jedi's return in the market place.

hence why the internet always notes every blaster being replaced with a stick for weapons for the action figure run Of return of the Jedi.

Breh the franchise is about answering questions that CHARACTERS have. If no character in your movie wants to know something then there's no point in answering it because its not organic. So if Rey wanted to know what or who Snoke was, then you answer it but she doesn't care. Clearly Kylo already knows so he's good. If the resistance wanted to know, then you answer it, but none of them even mentioned dude. Every question, every big question, that's ever been answered in a Star Wars movie has come from the characters in the movie and is something THEY deeply want to know. It hasn't been fan service and providing answers for the sake of providing answers. There's a difference between you wanting to know something and Luke wanting to know something. And there's a good chance if Luke doesn't want to know the answer to a question, you as an audience member won't find out.

Why is Rey so powerful? Has anyone addressed this? Like officially from Disney

Based on what Snoke was saying it seems like Rey is part of the Force "balancing itself." So with Kylo being so powerful in the dark side the Force randomly selected Rey to be his equal in power on the light side in order to bring balance. It's a quick line and the movie should've placed more attention and emphasis on the concept but it's there and at least gives a partial explanation to why she's so powerful seemingly out of nowhere.

THAT is the question you should be asking. Those are the rules for any movie: Any info you find out on screen is pertinent to the people within the movie. If they don't care, you'll never find out. Like in The Strangers, the only reason we get any kind of explanation from the killers is because one of the victims asks "why" and compare that to the dark knight where we never get a definitive joker origin story because batman doesn't give a shyt and neither does anyone else on screen.

So yeah that is a question for Rian and anyone else connected with the movie

The shyt is really boggling my mind. Even with the "sand" and "no" scenes you can understand that maybe it sounded better in Lucas' head when he wrote it down and he just didn't bother to give the actors proper directions when they acted the scenes out.

But Rian Johnson, a competent director and writer, really sat down and thought "I'm gonna have Leia survive an explosion, and being stuck in deep space, and then have her float into a ship because umm, the Force, and it'll be an epic, amazing moment that'll blow everyone's minds! :krs:" And the Disney execs really saw that shyt and were like ":ehh: This is definitely gonna work." The only explanation I have for that shyt is a lot of cocaine
