I saw the movie last night and left disappointed. I really wanted to like it to.

My main complaint is the incompetence from The First Order and The Resistance. At the end of the day no one won or looks like they can win without the other side fukking up more than they did.

I can go into more detail but I'll just get mad about the film. Maybe I need to watch it again but I'm not going out if my way to do that.

That's cool and all but star wars is a sci find fantasy. The most threatening thing about the main antagonist right now is that he has pre teen emotions.

I don't like how we have NEVER seen kylo ren stop blaster fire outside of the first scene in the force awakens. that was dope as fukk, and they've never revisited that power. nor do they showimg him being adept with sith lightning. vader couldn't do it cuz he was a cyborg, but kylo ren should be able to.

At this point I have no idea how powerful Kylo Ren is. He has probably the dopest bloodline out of any character (or any character ever will) in this this series. But he lost a fight to a Jedi noob in TFA and he struggled during the tag team fight with Rey against the Soo Woo jobbers in this one. Like I said before, Darth or Luke would have murked all those fools easily.

Breh, you are correct. So it seemed everyone knew about the surveillance/tracking of an FO dreadnaught.

They could have easily fixed it by having Del Torro also have a lapel/sigel hidden in his jacket pocket and reveal it at the right time and made playboy at the craps table an imposter.

The whole Casino plot is stupid cause Dr. Sattler just rammed the ship anyway. Imagine during the Battle of Endor if one of the Rebels went off to Mos Eisley to pick up an Imperial Best Buy Technician for cracking the Death Star's shields?

Trilogy gon turn into Mission Impossible movie with everybody tricking each other.

End of Episode IX Palpatine will return on some "Now that Luke is dead, I can finally reveal that I was sith mindtricking him into thinking Vader killed me " only for Yoda to show up like "Mindtricked you, have I, to think destroy the Jedi Order, you did" and then all the Jedi from Episode I show up.

I went in the theater with a open mind and still left disappointed
None of the characters seemed like the ones we met in TFA,and the plot wasn't that enjoyable for me. And this is coming from someone who doesn't shyt on the prequels

Anyway, I'll give it another viewing in a few days. Maybe my mind will change after a second viewing?

Why no backstory on the new villain?

Why should there be one? He's a side character and mean nothing to the bigger picture.

First 45-60 minutes had me yawning....but after the escaped the casino jail it was lit

This movie really hits his stride when all of the good guys are together they do not need to split them up anymore.

But I am also not an og Star Wars geek so I gauge it as a casual fan.

my only criticism about this movie which goes back to the force awakens is

how the hell is rae a damn jedi master basically with no training in the first movie and luke didn't teach her shyt in the 2nd. in a new hope, luke couldn't do shyt jedi wise, and they didn't make u think he could. however rae defeated kylo ren in the first movie and put on another jedi display with him in the 2nd film. bytch has zero training yet has all the skills somehow.

Wait until the next movie breh, Dont know why you nikkas are so impatient.
