So basically she was just here to get the bag and resume and be out. She ain’t real Star Wars Fam she just passing thru smh. That’s why I’m still kinda salty about her character...

The worst thing is to have a fan be a lead in that franchise. Now if she was a better actress but she is right for the tone they are going for.

Dam the spoilers from that Pawn guy have been confirmed.This nikka Rian has gone and shat all over Star Wars lore, TFA defenders claiming there is a reason for such and such just got piss in their face. No explanation of shyt it’s just like that because.
I haven't read the spoilers but the consensus about the movie so far is that regardless of overall quality, the movie took a lot of risks and hardcore fans are gonna love it, not sure how Last Jedi will shyt all over the lore
Luke wasn't used in VI but I always felt like there was a handshake deal that he would be prominent in VIII and IX. But he doesn't just die, they butcher first by almost killing Ben when he sensed the dark side in him, and second by making him out to be a coward after the destruction of the New Jedi Order.
JJ makes it a point to keep people mysterious: Who is Snoke? Who are Rey's parents? What's so special about Finn?
Those questions are not satisfied, Snoke isn't explained, he's basically just a random big bad from what I've heard. Rey is not only a skywalker, she's a literal no-one and that parentage issue is resolved in this movie. There is no connection between Rey and Finn but she is, randomly connected to Kylo.
The resistance and the republic aren't explained all that much either from what I've heard, so this new trilogy is bending over backwards to be dissimilar to the prequels, and I actually liked some of the politics.
I was rooting for Snoke = Plagueis and Rey Skywalker but this just feels like Disney are purposely defying popular theories.

I actually agree with you, the whole Rey is just the child of two junkyard dealers is ridiculous, how is she so powerful in the force then? How does she know of abilities the jedis wield when prior she didn’t even know the force was real? This new franchises are trash and inconsistent to the lore, Anakin dad was the force and even he wasn’t pulling Jedi abilities from his ass without Training. The most he could do was foresight and that was due to his incredible connection to the force. Rey can be powerful but she should never be Skywalker powerful because the Skywalkers hail directly from the force. These bytch ass nikkas just shytting on everything Lucas established no respect whatsoever.
I might be able to accept she's as powerful as she was. Just don't make her potential skywalker potential and call it a day. Darth Bane was the son of no one and he was the chosen one of Sith, Darth Sidious and Dooku came from nowhere but they are the strongest dark side users in history. At least according to the old EU and word of God from George Lucas himself. No the problem and reason why she's a Mary Sue is her skill, none of those guys were doing anything with their powers before training, nothing. But she being a nobody can defeat a trained powerful force user in lightsaber combat, and use specialised force abilites. It's nonsensical. And frankly disrespectful to my intelligence and star wars fandom.

this. george and them were fleshing the lore out with the clone wars cartoon series. disney flushed it down the toilet. I don't know why homeboy didn't just make his own movies instead of selling out to the mouse mafia. he would have made more money long term.
the post rotj shyt for the past 20-30 years was based on luke and had epic storylines about the war with the remnants of the empire. luke became the most powerful jedi ever
but now he dies against a kid who nearly got merked off by a chick using a lightsabre for the first time (it seems the excuse about her being trained as a child wasn't true)

So far it has been divisive for fans who have read the spoilers, there are a number of things that don’t add up with zero explanation and contradicts previous things established by George Lucas. There is one overall thing that will be reinforced after this movie comes out and that is the fact that Rey is a Mary Sue and a terrible character that was constructed by KK and JJ.
