I think people are both overthinking this and oversimplifying all of this . Poe is going to be the future leader of the resistance he's leias right hand . Finn is going to become the hero he said he was in TFA and not just for Rey , Rey not 100% sure but will be tempted by snoke .Re-watched this trailer again and aside from the visuals

This will cause a shytstorm. You take the main female lead that tons of little girls look up to, turn her evil, then take the bad guy who has killed tons of people including a beloved favorite, turn him good and expect folks to root for him. Keyboards would be on fire after the film is over
I personally do think Rey turning heel would be an interesting turn of events though . Especially if it's up to Luke and Finn to stop her or try to bring her back to the light.
