Watched the whole theory and it actually made sense. Kylo was on the defense that whole final battle and rey was the aggressor which is some dark side shyt. That would be dope if she was hidden by luke because she was some dark side heir to the empire and kylo never really felt sith ready but in between.

That got me more hype for this movie damn!!

I don’t hate Rey because she is a female but because she is a terrible character plain and simple. I loved Wonder Woman and she was the strongest character in her movie.

I'm still sticking by my theory that the new republic attacked Lukes academy and Kylo took the blame.

That scene from TFA vision where Kylo killed the republic soldier as he was about to attack Rey had me thinking there's more to it than just Kylo destroying it all.

I think out of fear the republic attacked Lukes academy with the help/manipulation of snoke.

Remember history is written by the victors . The empire won and the Jedi were written as the bad guys that tried to take over the Senate. Who knows what more anti Jedi propaganda that has run rampant in the galaxy over time.

It would also help to explain why there's still a resistance and a republic and why they aren't one in the same.

What if we have just been led to believe Kylo destroyed the academy but in actuality he arrives after and killed the remained republic soldiers.

Nothing is what it seems and theyve chosen specifically only to show and explain bits and pieces of the past.

I say that because its clear you don't see the subtext.

Rey doesn't even drive the plot. Technically Kylo and Finn have done more to drive the story forward. Rey doesn't even do anything but scavenge until she meets BB8 and Finn. Who wouldn't have been on Jakku if it wasn't for Kylo. There would have been no ground party assault on Starkiller if not for Finn.

It can be Rey's story. Just like the prequels told us about Obi-Wan's heroics in the Clone Wars. But ultimately, Star Wars is about the Skywalker bloodline (which she may very well be in).

Kylo was injured and toying with her, he was intrigued by her natural attunement to the force.

True. That could mean someone figured out rey's true identity and said "oh hell nah assassinate her" with snoke maybe sending kylo to recover her but look stops him and hides her on jakku
