I been telling cats Star Wars is "The Skywalker Saga" set to the backdrop of three Galactic Wars. Kylo Ren's story is basically a "What if a Skywalker was on the "wrong" side?"
Rey is just his foil, in fact, as far as we know she has no threads that even connect to the previous stories. VII-IX is the Kylo Ren story.

Dam straight, movie looks like fukking trash. So Luke Who is the son of Anakin fukking Skywalker has never seen raw power like this before despite his granddaddy being the fukking force itself.
whi writes this garbage, bet you the script just read as and Rey is the bestest at everything and the strongest ever ever because she is a girl and feminism. Say what you want about Lucas and the prequels but these fukkers are the ones truly killing the Star Wars franchise.

Nah this is Rey story, Kathleen Kennedy is pumping feminism bullshyt into the franchise. Killing Lucas franchise and driving it into the ground. To be honest Lucas should have never sold it, he got ripped off based on what they paid him for the franchise. He could have made that money ten times over with just three films. He should have remained the owner of the franchise but went to a studio (Fox) to get financing for the new movies. He would have still had creative rights and could have given the script and story ideas to someone else but had input. Instead the mouse ripped him off and turned him away on some just sign here Mr Lucas and the door is that way.

Wow, the hate for women is strong. If Rey was a dude you guys would see past her gender and be theorizing whether she was really Palpatine's great granddaughter. The reason behind her raw power would be the focus, not the so-called politics of her character having power. SMH.

2. We don't know what the "once before" is. He could be referring to
a. Vader on Bespin
b. Palpatine microwaving his insides
c. Kylo destroying the new jedi acadamy
d. something we don't know about
