I think Rey turns out to be a Grey Jedi in the end..Balance between both the light & dark side..sorta along the lines of mace Windu but more refined. I guess once she studies the grail scrolls and shyt..

Mark Hamill just came out and said she makes it through the Last Jedi so she will be alive for the final movie....not sure how she will be used though.
