One of these things is not like the others but it my eyes fault for seeing it.Dude is even in a jedi pose. :francis: Han Solo didn't get demoted in A
New Hope and had redemption in coming back to save Luke but Merry Christmas bruh.

As you said, one of the things ARE NOT like the other. Let it go, it is embarrassing that you emotionally torn because someone is not a Jedi just because he held a light saber. Just like Han Solo (who was WORSE, BTW) in which didn't want any parts of the so-called revolution and really more out for self originally only to help and be the key factor to the Rebel/Resistance success.... just let go of your own insecure of some Negro Superhero to make you feel good about yourself.... because if you already self-secure about your identity, you won't NEED any film to justify who you are as a black man.

What's that thing dangling from Luke's waist? Why does han solo hold his light saber like a gun and why does leias hold her gun like han solo is holding his light saber? :francis:

Merry Christmas bruh. Go play with your new toys and stop reaching

Han Solo holding a light saber that in THAT film did not believe in anything regarding the Jedi...... the fact remains it meant NOTHING. Because what is shown on posters or trailers DO NOT equate to what or how the film will be. It is YOUR OWN DAMN FAULT for making assumptions to anything in this film when the MAIN consistent thing was the fact details of this film was AIR TIGHT and they went out their way not to reveal anything at all. So who fault is it that you speculated WRONG and mad because of your own dumb ass assumption? Don't blame them for doing what they were supposed to do. Fault yourself in hoping for your black superhero just to make your feel like you are justified as a black man. If ANY film you seek for some kind of justification of yourself or a people, then you truly need an intervention, because you don't NEED anything but who you are WITHIN to justify black greatness.

Movies are just VISUAL storytelling put on a large screen. Just as long a character like Finn isn't portrayed with a notion of subhuman traits reminiscent to a MINSTREL SHOW, and shown as any regular human being would be in a situation where nobility exceeds over imperfections, why the fucck should you complain. Finn is a character that been OPPRESSED all of his life that became self-aware and disillusioned to the realities of that regime and gone AWOL. While initially resisting to join forces with freedom fighters, he became their key asset to destroy the regime's main outpost and superweapon. If you want to bytch about the fact that the portrayal of the character is that of a HUMAN BEING, someone who isn't perfect, do have fear, but also courage, willing to sacrifice his for the sake of others, and someone who became self-aware from the conditioning of that regime to be able to escape and become his own person, rejecting his original SLAVE name... then you need to truly learn knowledge of self... and not following other fake internet revolutionaries that are worst than these wannabe fake thugs.

Han solo is not the only representation of white males in the film. There is plenty of diversity in the white characters. Finn is the only black person in the movie. Given this the contrast between the treatment of his character and the other white lead characters is indefensible.

you reaching to make points and attempting to compare an un-established movie to a bi-product of its future successes. We know how star wars works in 2015, we didn't know anything in the 70's. We also know how false advertisement works especially when its playing off something that's already established. You guys keep making the argument for me on why Finns character is disappointing to people. He did all the things that heroes do but wasn't a hero at the end of the day. Good job.:mjlol:

Merry Christmas bruh. Go drink some egg nog and go back to the drawing board.

That article is retarded. It keeps saying "final act of the film" as if he wasn't unconscious for all of 5 minutes

People didn't know anything and George Lucas and his trailers/posters didn't tell you anything and during the 1970's, it was COMMON for trailers or upcoming releases to give out detail about what's the movie is about. Lucas was one of the 1st, if not one of the very FIRST to not reveal anything prior to release of the film.. NOBODY had a clue what Star Wars was or anything specifically about that. But today, in a society that has the internet to leak almost anything and everything, you want to be MAD that JJ Abrams and Kathleen Kennedy successfully disguised any DETAIL of the film. You really BELIEVE what they were showing you is in actual CONTEXT? Again, that is YOUR OWN DUMBASS FAULT.

And happy holidays to you. Because clearly you still believe in Santa or white Jesus because you seen it on pictures and books. Obviously you do since you wanted to believe Finn just because of what's shown in pictures and trailers. SMH.

Does that poster say Star Wars the force awakens starring FINN THE BLACK JEDI ? And how was he demoted ?
Cmon son its not that serious...:comeon:

Finn I keep saying maybe limited in wookie speak and droid speak but they are only perpetuating these stereotypes as fact when it concerns Finn but don't highlight what positives he has done in the movie at all. He is a catalyst 3 dimensional character whose story arc is NOT over. Who has massive chemistry with reys character and seems to be a shoe in to be friends with poe.

These muthafukkas nitpick shyt to death but the trilogy is NOT OVER. it's too soon to call him the token c00n or token black characters when we haven't even seen how he is when he gets out of the coma.

He is possibly the new han solo of the shyt.

Also he was raised as a stormtrooper from birth I imagine the first order doesn't educate their troopers to understand foreign languages easy they possibly have translators inside their helmets ala mass effect, instead they are programmed and indoctrinated. Finn was able to break his programming and escape.

Another positive which many people seem to downplay is his fight against a wounded kylo ren while he lost we need to look at an untrained fighter who was able to hold his own and get a few good hits in. AND NOT DIE...

Id rather be in a coma then to lose my head.

Seems to me you need to let go of your own insecurity. That's the real problem. You been struggling with post traumatic slave disorder that you are BEGGING you a black superhero. It makes you feel secure about yourself. And anything less is offensive to you self-image. That's insecurity, my brother.

Nikka what? It not deep at all. People are just pointing out that Finn portrayal was not good. His whole premise was to build other characters in the movies up. It got nothing to do with post traumatic slave disorder or anything. People just aren't acknowledging this simple fact. Its a fking movie. IT IS FICTION. What the fyck is wrong with you?
:what:

You had your own overrated expectations crushed. The only one to blame is yourself. If you have TRUE knowledge of self. You would give two fuccks about how white devils view on our people. And you can view without bias our people as HUMAN BEINGS and not a false sense of reality. Finn is the most human of all the characters and is why many, regardless of race can identify with him. But because it doesn't fit with your need to make yourself feel GOOD about yourself you want to shyt on the character instead of looking at yourself in the mirror and ask if you are black excellence and how and why.

Again WTF are you talking about? Its a fyking movie. I don't know where you pull this out your ass but the bottom line is no one expected Finn to be potrated as he was in this movie. Regardless if he was the most human character or not. It was a clear bait and switch. Even if he was another race no one expected Finn to not have any shining moments in this movie. The complaints with Finn is not complicated to understand.
:what:

Because the way you and others are behaving online, y'all would be real bytches and pussies put into a similar situation in witnessing immoral war combat. Y'all wouldn't even volunteer when REAL a revolution jumps off. When you go against the government, go attack on their military. Be like how the Resistance is in this movie. Ya'll would be the FIRST sellouts to run and hide.

Nikka this is the FILM ROOM not higher learning. Take that shyt somewhere else. We are discussing a fictional character in a fictional movie. Plus Finn was a coward and a liar. He wanted no part of the Resistance. You don't realize you are defending exactly what you are attacking in this post.
:what:

Because if you truly about that life that you shytted on this character as not, you wouldn't even BE online. You would be strategizing for war and revolution. Yet, you are here bytchin about a MOVIE. A fantasy. Whining about one character that doesn't live up to your insecure protective image.

Strategizing for war because a character in a movie has a shytty portrayal?? Nikka you buggin. :mjlol:

See my comments in red.
