I'm not even mad about Finn's character in general but my biggest issue was that they were gonna make the black dude the main heroes sidekick and that seems to be exactly what happened. No relevance to the plot after he's introduced and is just there to plump up other characters. I wouldn't even be mad if finn were played by a white actor but since they cast boyega this is an even bigger fault.

If the movie sucks its all on JJ
I'm glad he has nothing to do with Ep 8
