naw, its a rare weapon, in any encounter in a lightsaber battle the whip has the advantage because nobody knows how to fight it

Adam Driver is the decendent of a certain past bad guy. He is a collector of old Sith relics, including an ancient sword like weapon from a previous age.. He is the Darth Vader of the new villain, meaning he's working for someone. The concept art of the masked figure with the same 'sword' is him

If true this storyline would be perfect

Marvel the only brand I trust. They gonna have to create a villain that's more polarizing than Darth Vader. Every other Star War's villain has been ass and Vader wasn't used enough. I hope they go a different route this time.

Probably wrong on this but Im thinking the reason why that Sith's blade looks like that is because he uses the dark side of the force. Like all his anger, rage, etc...manifests itself on his blade and it causes it to look like its about to explode all over the place.

Didn't think of that, but if I remember the Rebels episode, Zare was looking for his sister who had been taken. Could be Boyega's aunt or hell even his mom. Don't know if you want to hear them, but the spoilers about her and Adam Driver are pretty cool. Don't know if they are real, but cool as hell.

The crossguard lightsaber was essentially a regular lightsaber with a second blade emitter protruding near the first one at a 45-degree angle to the axis of the hilt. The blade the second emitter emitted was dagger-sized.
