The movies - likely a billion each and that's not including merch and tie-ins. I'd be surprised if they aren't #1 and #2 in box office at the end of the year. If Batman v Superman tanks in 2016 Warner Bros have a real problem...
By the way - are any of you brehs hype for the Avatar sequels? The original was
status to me. Unless Cameron has something game changing visually in it, I don't know that it will be big enough to out earn either AOU or SW7. The storyline in the 1st flick didn't really lend itself to a sequel. I didn't care about Worthington's character when he was white, now I have to give a shyt because he's blue?

The prequels were fukking terrible, knock that shyt off. They were a train wreck.
This looks dope, but I'm going into it with extremely low expectations due to the last 3 movies being awful. I have a feeling this new batch of talent (JJ Abrams, Rian Johnson, etc.) are just what the franchise needed.

Marvel the only brand I trust. They gonna have to create a villain that's more polarizing than Darth Vader. Every other Star War's villain has been ass and Vader wasn't used enough. I hope they go a different route this time.
